The Lakers Always Step Up W/O Bynum

Post#1 » by Mamba Venom » Thu Mar 25, 2010 4:26 pm

The Lakers gear up differently when they know they will be tested. W/ Bynum this team seems to go we will win with overwhelming talent. W/O Bynum this team seems to know that everyone has to show up to get the job done.

I think this mind set will helps to get us ready for the play-offs when Drew comes back. Bynum was a play-off virgin last year. This year hopefully he will do even better. I'm starting to believe that this team is going to be one of the all-time greats despite the speed bumps w/ chemistry (Artest) and injuries (Gasol, Kobe, Bynum, LO, Luke, Sasha...) this year.

I'm getting pumped because this team is showing some back bone w/o Bynum. Are my fellow Laker fans feeling the same way?

:D

GO LAKERS!!! FTW
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

They step up without Pau, and they step up without Kobe too. I think they need to feel like they are at a disadvantage before they try their best. I wish it weren't so. Maybe Phil should make up a player on the team, and name him Michael Jordan. And every game he can tells the lakers "we are missing mike guys, we need to step it up without him" and they'll finally give it their all even when they have a fullly healthy roster =P
