How bad is Sasha Vujacic’s ankle?

That bad.

In the final game of L.A.’s regular season, the guard severely sprained the pictured left ankle in the second quarter after being clipped on the way down from a jump shot.

You can see why there is no timetable for the Slovenian’s return, and why he’ll obviously not come back for the Lakers’ first round matchup with Oklahoma City. At least.

Any chance it will keep him out next year too?

That is sick as hell. Just as soon as Sasha when getting the hang of things he gets dragged down to step one.

Might be a blessing in disguise. This way, Phil won't look to play him every single chance he gets hoping he somehow find the game he has lost.

There goes our 3 point shooter just when he was hitting his stride. Just means more mins for old man Fisher against Westbrook.

That looks terrible.

I give Sasha as much crap as anyone else on this board, but even I feel bad for the guy. He's been struggling mentally/emotionally for the past two seasons and now to get hurt after playing two of his best games has got to be tough.
Thank you, Phil.

no timetable for his return?

promise?!

injury is the only way phil wont over use him like hes gods gift to the 3pt line!

now if phil would just let farmer get into a rhythm we'd have farmer and brown getting valuable minutes.

WTH, Sasha has been making shots lately and getting his rhythm back a bit then this happened. What did he do, this must be all karma. Btw, I'm concerned. That hurts.

Wow......let's make light of the fact that the guy is hurt and can't play.

Worst case scenario, we could have put him on Westbrook. Just play scrappy D, like he used to in the Playoffs, let him try his hand at Durant. I thought he was one of our biggest assets defensively, and it's a big blow that he won't be around. We may not need him to advance past OKC, but it would have been nice to let him continue getting into his rhythm.

Well now Farmar needs to step up and do what he needs to do. We are one less now and others need to make up for the difference. Even if Sasha played very little, one practice player down and one shooter down. Man I wish we had 14 on the roster now.

injury or no injury. fair or unfair. the years are starting to pile up, years of waste and uselessness. all of last year, virtually unheard of and rarely used. this year, small signs of a pulse, now OUT indefinitely. which again, equals uselessness. weve got monies tied up that is taking space, add another year like next year, and its safe to say it was a disaster re-signing this guy for that amount of money.
