Seriously, how is Amares sucky defense making him lucky? One of the all time dumb comments.

IMO it wasn't a smart thing to say. I say this for two reasons, one obviously is that Lamar now has some extra motivation to stay active and contribute like he did in Game 1. The other reason is because Amare has never been known as a defensive player. Did you see how Lamar drove by him at will in Game 1? IMO Amare couldn't even hold Lamar's jock strap... He has a tremendous skill set on offense. But Amare has no room to talk about other players getting lucky against him on offense.

GO LAKERS!!!

Lucky the best the West could throw in our way is the young Thunder, midget Jazz, and no defense Suns.

is it just me? I know lamar's comments were pretty calm. but I bet he is burning inside. he probably can not sleep at night fantasizing himself making amare his b1tch in game 2.

I'm calling it now. Odom is gonna throw up a huge game tonight. I can't wait to see Stoudemire's response after tonight's game:

"Uh...he's a great player. We just gotta keep the intensity and take care of business at home."

don't step too far out on that limb there...nevertheless...+1. Look for a similar performance from LO and hopefully a better defensive effort from the Lakers to start the game.

You guys heard Doug Collins say Amare also said he used to own Pau when he was in Memphis, and now hes got his little brother (ab17) to help... paraphrasing...

Amare is deflecting. He's failing and he's looking for someone other than himself to blame. Much like the Suns fans blaming the refs on their playoff demise.

This is a resume series for Amare and he's failing his job interview. Who wants to give Amare anything more than 10M per for a one way player?

If I was PHX I'd be trying to rip Lamar from the Lakers, he'd be starting for any other team.

Did anyone else get the feeling that Kobe was going to Gasol so much late in the game to make Amare look like a complete ass?

I know Gasol was on, but Kobe typically likes putting teams away, so I think he was determined to get back at him for running his mouth about Odom/Gasol.

A team that has zero accountability is not going to win a title. I somewhat feel for Nash if he remains ringless, but he's also responsible for putting their loss on external factors. At the beginning of the year he was still talking about how the Lakers got Gasol for free. If you can't even let that go two years after the trade you're already out of it mentally.
