Some pretty good points, except these two. Y'all gotta forget about the regular season, this clearly is an entirely different celtics team. In the regular season they were never practicing together as a whole unit, taking a huge amount of days off between the big three. Sheed is playing disciplined right now, they shortened their rotation to 8 players who all play fantastic defense.... regular season is almost totally irrelevant except home court advantage, which is a big factor for you all.

Celtics fan here. If the Lakers and Celtics meet in finals it will be epic. A true Clash of the Titans. Last time the Lakers were overrated and although Pao and Kobe had great chemistry they were a team thrown together midseason missing important parts including a reliable Center and a defensive SF as both Bynum and Ariza were hurt.

This time around both teams are champions, both have added to their lineups and both have solid benches. This is 1984, 1985 and 1987 all over again. In fact, the only comparible final since 1989 (after Pistons/Lakers matchups) that even comes close is the ?2003 Spurs/Pistons final.

I honestly have no idea who will win. The Suns destroyed the Spurs who many thought had the talent to give the Lakers a test and the Suns are getting humiliated. The Celtics are similarly destroying an Orlando team that many thought was the best team in basketball East or West and was 8-0 in playoffs coming into series.

I don't think there is any need for trash talk or bravado. This is the thriller in Manilla. This is going to be a battle of the big boys. Both franchises put together their dream rosters and both are playing their best basketball. No excuses. No remorse. This is going to be a finals that will be remembered for a long time.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

I'm incline to agree this will be a fight to the end, I'll shut off my phone and glue my eyes to the damn TV. I will see this one to the end. As a Die Hard Laker Fan I want to repay Boston for that 39 point beat down. I cried after that damn game, my buddies laughed at me for months because the Lakers lost, that in turn made my anger for the Celtics grow even more after I was thinking that it couldn't get any bigger.
