U guys are missing the point with Posey and his 3s and other bit players. First off, his D wasn't that good one-on-one, he was just physical with Kobe. Tony Allen is a better defender at this point. Second of all, Posey hit the "F-U" 3. When the Celts were up 12, him and Eddie House would get rolling and the lead would explode.

The truth of the matter is the corps that beat the Lakers in 2008 is the same, and largely the same type of players and production. Ray Allen is better and more comfortable, and Pierce is the same player he has been the last 3 years.

There are two big differences.

1. Rajon Rondo is not a liability, but the catalyst. These Celtics with him running the show are much more versatile. They can win with Pierce scoring 12 ppg. You can't focus on anyone of the Celtics. That makes them a tough guard now.

That's what makes the Cs more difficult (do have a better bench than 2008)>

Now on the negative

2. KGs knee. Against Cleveland and times against Miami he showed he was the same player. But, he floats much more than he used to. Defensively he is still a bear. He destroyed Beasley, Antawn Jamison and Rashard Lewis. Pau Gasol? Gasol is bigger, but KGs problems now are quickness. If KG is playing nutso on D the Celts are awful tough to beat. This is the key to the series --- which KG shows up. If its retro KG comes with energy he is going to ignite that defense. he won't score 25 ppg, but he is more than capable of a double-double.

You want to know how KG feels? Watch him and see if he is playing with energy. If he has energy, he is for a big game.

Series hinges on KG. Depends what kind of player shows up defensively.

First of all IMHO this thread SUCKS and it should be locked since there is no proof behind these accusation and its really uncalled for. The Cs were the better team and we were simply beat by a better team that was stacked with good talent and they were hungry and we basically choked.

Second you and some of your fans NOT ALL BUT SOME should be the last to talk about BEING CLASSY. Roll over to your board and check out some of your posters classless posts and comments like Rondo BUTT RAPPING Fisher or people bringing up Kobes Colorado incident. SO AGAIN dont call out all the Laker fans because of this idiotic thread.

And above all MOST OF YOUR Cs fan are the biggest whinning little itches when you guys lose games and most not all of your fans are the biggest NBA IS RIGGED cry babies I have ever met. In fact according to MOST of your fan base the past THREE years was suppose to be rigged for a Lebron and Kobe finals SETUP by Stern. Yet Lebron hasnt even played a finals game since 04.

So please spare us with your CLASS on having CLASS garbage.
