This....Boston isn't a high tempo team, pace will favor us in any form they display it. Boston fans are so stuck on "if our defense gets set, we stop the Lakers offense easily". What a bunch of BS, Kobe just said after the Suns series that they can adjust to any style. How quickly people forget all those battles with the Spurs were never horse races, they were like watching syrup run down a plate.

This will help Drew and ease the stress on his knees, Boston about to have their hands full.

This. Go watch the .04 clip in the GT. Final score was 74-73. it was like that all through the post lockout 4-5 years (yeah, scoring average was down everywhere, but still). All throughout the Shaq/Kobe/Phil years, I'd sit and watch the Lakers and think "if I wasn't a fan of this team, this game would be boring as hell". Couldn't stand watching the Spurs for that same reason unless they were playing the Lakers.

Bottom line, it's the offensive scheme. The Triangle isn't built for D'Antoni style fun and gun. Guys still gotta play both ends of the floor though.

All that scoring and not much else has most of these teams preparing to watch us thursday. We will adapt and get revenge, although the team does not care who they play in the finals. I see us being the aggressor this year, maybe not physically but overall.

They're referring to the elbow I'm assuming. If they do it's either Rondo or Garnett that has to shift over. I'm not sure I'd do that.

Draining the fluid doesn't repair the meniscus tear. Drew would need surgery or plain old rest to get that fixed.

As far as I know, there haven't been any reports that Kobe has a torn anything in his knees, maybe some ligaments or joint sprains in his fingers though.

I am not foreseeing much from Andrew, but if the Lakers want to win this thing, Kobe needs to have a great Finals.

Even though Drew's head might have not been in the Suns series, I believe he will be mentally there against Boston. He was thinking about the Celtics at the start of the Suns series. It appears that he has himself motivated. Drew having his knee drained is going to boost his confidence up because I think he will look at the impact it had on Kobe and feel good about his knees.

We all saw that he did not back down to KG and if the Celtics do try to frustrate him he will go right at them and when he goes at them he will go hard. I think he likes playing against Boston and I'm sure hes heard about hows hes been a no factor in 2 previous finals. If I'm Drew I wouldn't wanna have to be labeled that a third year in a row.

Even though it shouldn't be surprising look for Bynum to be a surprising factor in these Finals that might just determine who wins this series.

yeah, it won't magically fix his tear, but it should help his mobility and comfort. prior to game 6 or game 5, i think craig sager talked about how bynum had convinced gary vitti to remove some metal strap from his knee brace cause his knee swelling was making it really uncomfortable. i assume draining the knee only helps this.
