Actually after thinking about it I think Pau's jersey will also be retired if you think about when you rank some of the best NBA international players of all time the top 5 will probably look like this 1. Dirk, 2. Yao, 3. Pau, 4. Parker, 5. Manu and I think Peja in his prime, Petrovic, and Kukoc at their best will be up there also. And the Hall of Fame is run by FIBA not the NBA so there is an international element in the voting that would give Pau a good chance of getting in .

There is a ton of stuff I could pick about on the Celtics board that get's " Old". So it some photoshops are really the only issue, ok.

Just off the top of my head, Celtics fans are in full force with the underdog/media is not picking us stuff ( when they are) . Kobe is a bad teammate, Phil Jackson this, the media said that..etc..

Celtic fans have said that the media hasn't picked them in the past--this series, I'm pretty sure its more even....

Anyways, relax man--photoshops aren't an issue, it's the freakin internet. I- and apparenently Snaq too judging from his lighthearted response- were just doing some friendly talking....

I am pretty sure I have still picked up an tinge over under dog / over looking emanating for your board, but regardless, I think we can both agree that who the media pics is irrelevant.

Ok, in that case. Carry on...

I love Big Shot Rob and I'll never forget that 3 pointer he made against the Kings.
I literally jumped into my brother's arms after that went in screaming like a maniac.
But number 5 jersey does not belong in the rafters.

Not even debatable.

Are you from the future? Does another great Laker wear #5 in 2032 and we win 5 titles... if so yes we should retire #5

How can you fault him for that cause he went to the Spurs to be closer to his daughter. If you hate him for that then youre as bad as the Jazz fans that boo Fish.

horry didn't leave by choice, lakers just didn't want him anymore. he was terrible in the playoffs and had no future here with malone signing.

What about #14? He single handedly led us to two championships.

As much respect as I have for Big Shot, I don't think we can. At some point, you have to draw the line. It sucks only great players get that honor, but you can't be retiring numbers every 5 years. Eventually you'll run out lol.

of course, the Ukraine Hype Train. First former soviet european to play as a Laker, true pioneer and cold blooded assassin when he got the ball in his favorite position.

I know if I was a Laker I wouldnt chose 14 out of respect.

They should retire 14, 1, and 4 out of respect for Stanislav. He's obviously the most influential Laker of all time.

My name is LAkersworld1, and I'm a LAkers-holic.

Out of respect, Coop, of all LAkers should be retired. Robbery-I mean, Rob Horry should be retired. He helped our crew gain our reign back from a decade, dry of championships (90's), come back to destroy the NBA with a renewed LAke-Show!
