Anybody want some laughs go look on the Celtics board, all you see is......we're not losing this series, we're winning this series, we can take this series.. Those dudes just run senseless crap out their asses with no though process what so ever. Do they realize they can't rebound, can't function without Rondo on the floor, they're bench is just as flawed as ours and their better players are being neutralized for certain stretches of the games ?

This Fisher-Bryant P and R may become a major problem for them in game 4. I had never realized just how pitiful Rondo was against the screen. I'd be surprised if Kobe-Fisher in the P and R wouldn't be more effective even.

+1 Deep. You beat me to it.

I couldn't stop laughing. For all the abuse Laker fans get I couldn't believe the constaint crying in all the Boston threads. If they think that got hosed by the officials in Game 3 there will never be a game that Boston does'nt get hosed by the officials.

I'm actually mildly surprised Phil went this adjustment so late in the game. It's not the norm for Phil to make such a slight adjustment like this, but it worked just the way we needed it to. Not sure if it could work for long stretches of a game, but it may be worth taking a look at it again.

i know the series is far from over but i kept help but think we are probably one bad call(out of bounds play on garnett in game 2) from being up 3-0...i know we can't dwell on that but that is a crazy thought...now with that said i look for boston to be fired up on thursday, that is almost an elimination game for them, because i think they know that it will be almost impossible for them to beat us 3 straight...we have to do the samething we did in this game and that is weather their early barrage...if we keep our composure, get the ball inside(i expect pau to have a great bounce back game) run the offense with kobe taking smarter shots, and just tighten up on that defense a little bit then we will give ourselves a great shot at winning game 4...

go lakers!!!
Only on realgm is 27,000 points, 5 rings, 1 rs mvp and 2 finals mvp considered overrated!

May I be cynical for a bit? I hope you don't mind, but with Boston's board's latest barrage of acrimonious epithets, I can't resist the urge to make a few cynical comments. To organize my discussion, I suggest that we take one step back in the causal chain and work together in an atmosphere of friendship and hope. Having endured countless hours of listening to Boston's board's vapid gibber, I can say with confidence that he who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. Of course, people like Boston's board who do in fact perpetrate evil support international flopping while purporting to oppose it. Lastly, I can't end this post without mentioning that it's amazing that batty, inimical dingbats like Boston's board still exist in this day and age.

I know I am going to be labeled as a clown or as a crybaby celtics fan but here is what I posted on our board.

I am sick of people complaining about the refs. I understand they suck, but they have sucked for both sides. Here is why the Celtics lost.

Let Fisher score 10 points in the 4th.
Missed 8 FT (66.7% from the line)
Allen and PP shooting 5-25 combined.
Team shot 43% from the field.

I have said since the start the celtics are going to have all sorts of problems with this Lakers big. I also said I think the Lakers will take the series in 6.

I will say it again, celtics are losing because the Lakers are playing better. Celtics could not get a stop when they needed. Kobe did not shoot well but hit hit all the big shots.

The refs have sucked for both sides and I can probably speak for both teams fan base when I say that we are only watching this series because our teams are in it. If I was a casual fan there is no way in hell I would be sitting through games until midnight, 4 minutes time outs and a wistle every minuite. The refs and David Stern are wrecking this game for the casual fans.
Reggie stood out like a sore thumb no tattoos no agenda no chirping nothing Just a guy who could score at will He played college ball at Northeastern he replaced Larry as Celtics captain he belonged to Boston.
And I still miss him. Even now.

The Celtics defense was very good---Fisher was obviously a concern, but the Lakers are a very good offensive team, and we played great D for a lot of the 2nd half.

It was the stops--but even more than that, it was the offense, which downright awful in the end of the game.

Big "Fish" in a little pond! Only downside is with this performance I don't want to hear any more Kobe/Jordan comparisons. It's not the fact he shot awfully but his shot selection & decision making was not even that of an all star let alone an all time great.

I don't care how Boston fans want to spin it, but Ron is doing his job on Pierce. Nobody here ever said Ron would shut him out, but the problem is Paul can't do whatever the hell he want's out there. And that's the biggest difference from 08.

He is doing his job. PP is shooting 13-36 this series. I said at the start PP was going to have a few 5-15 type nights. So far he has two of them.

come on now ankle i don't think kobe is better than jordan but let's not forget that jordan put up some stinkers in the finals as well...at the end of the day the only thing that matters is the win...on another note i love the big fish in a small pond thing...d fish really came through tonight...a guy like that is not replaceable...

And that about sums it up. Unless you play a flawless game, you have no basis to complain about officiating. There are almost always numerous factors within a team's control that contributed to their downfall.

I mean, Allen puts up one of the worst games in Finals history, and Celtics fans are bitching about officials? He makes two or three more shots, and still ends up with a crappy 3-for-13, the Celtics probably win.

And it was the same case with us in Game 2. Officiating didn't lose that game, the Lakers did, with their inability to contain a 34-year-old and their horrid execution down the stretch.

What we saw in Game 3 is the heart of a champion.
DFish showed what it takes to win in the Finals on the road.
All the momentum was going in the C's direction and Kobe's shot was off.
DFish stepped up. Took and hit tough shots. Played awesome D. And was a leader.
The heart of a Champion.
