hahaha fisher doesnt even flop
he take CHARGES . difference between him and peirce/ray allen is that his feet are planted and hes usually hit right in the chest by the opposing player.

pierce and ray allen on the other hand go flying even if the momentum of the opposing player isnt going straight at them.

Let's be real for a moment.....even Laker fans agree that Fisher flops. He does flop....but he also plays really good defense. Hence the reason why he sells the flop really well. He does do a really job on Ray Allen, he also grabs and holds him...but there's grabbing and holding on every possession (even in the NFL). It's part of the game. He had two offensive fouls go the other way....because he was set and feet planted and there were the right call made. Then he had another where Rondo side stepped him and barely touched him and he fell backwards like he had absorbed a charge (he got called for defensive call on that one, right call made there too). The point is, he does flop, So does Gasol, so does Pierce and Ray and Rondo...but they also play really good defense but to say that he doesn't flop is just a flat out lie.

On the refs.......this series has been horrendous......and that's not the Celtic fan talking that's the real b-ball fan talking there. Before the series started all i wanted was the refs to not play a role in the games and so far that's exactly what has happened. Game 1.. 77 free throws....77. Game two, everyone again in foul trouble.....terrible calls made.....the same in game 3....more terrible calls...more phantom calls. Why don't they let the boys just play? it's men's basketball....and they deserved getting here.....so let them play. Don't control the game for ratings.

I think overall Stern needs to clean up the image that his refs are putting on these games....i mean it's the finals.....and then you have Mark JAckson and JVG saying on national TV....that's not a foul on Kobe, that's just good D....or Perkins didn't even touch Kobe on that drive...not a foul. what kind of message is that for a casual fan just watching these games because it's the Lakers and Celtics? Why control the game and have Kobe, Pierce, Ray, Artest, KG, Odom in foul trouble? Don't you want the best players out there on the tube showing the world how good your product is? Is it just me or can you guys relate?

I know bad calls will be made...i mean...refs are human...the problem is when it's bad call after bad call after bad call....then you have 3 calls reversed due to replay because the refs originally got it wrong......then it makes you wonder if the league is a setup.

They need to let them play it gets boring when you call fouls so tightly. It doesn't even really impact the outcome really, it just makes for a more boring series. When you call so many fouls it is not good for the sport. This the finals don't let your whistle have the final say.

Fisher might flop but that is to exagerate foul calls. The Celts straight flop out of thin air.

You guys know why there is so much flopping?

It's because of how this series is being officiated. It's being called too tightly.

It's very easy to flop to try and "buy a call" with acting.

The replay reviews being over turned and the many flops that these refs fall for are proof of how horrible NBA Refs really are and have been for quite some time.

jared dudley was on 710 espn today and talked about this. he's been on several times since the suns/lakers series started, and he's always come off as pretty smart. he said that fish definitely flops, but its just part of the game. he credited fish with never flopping on the offensive end, which he thought was more annoying. he said the worst offensive floppers in the series are kobe and his arm flailing, davis and his screaming, and the absolute worst is pierce. i agree with him, offensive floppers are way more annoying. i consider someone like chris paul the worst.

All to get the refs attention and Fish is well know flopper like Pierce. Ginobli and Varejao take the cake though.

Pierce just has terrible balance for an athlete. May be its down to him not being physically up there now a days but he used to be a much better player in terms of playing without losing his feet in his early to mid 20s.

Fisher is a shameless flopper and there's no excuse for it. Just as there's no excuse for kobe yelling every time he gets stripped, no matter whether he was fouled. It's disgusting when Manu Ginobili does it, it was disgusting when Vlade Divac did it, and you guys should just own up that it's not cool for Lakers to do it either.
