Great commercial.
I think Kobe is smelling blood in the water.
I hope he and the rest of the team come into Game 4 with "The Kloser" mentality and not settle for the one win they needed in Boston.

Nice commercial, but piss poor timing. Kobe has done anything but "Klose" in this series. Maybe they should make another commercial and call it: Kobe Bryant is "the guy that explodes during limited 5-minute stretches but then disappears in 4th quarters of the Finals until the game is already decided"

That's part of it, yes. Kobe not doing much in the 4th is also a big part of it (and this is the entire series we're talking about -- not just one game). That's what he's built for, and we haven't seen him doing much of anything yet.

When we start threads titled Lamar Odom is "The Rebounder", Pau Gasol is "The Shot Blocker", or Shannon Brown is "The Dunker" then I'll gladly criticize those idiots as well.

kobe really hasnt had opportunities to close. game 1 blowout, game 2 5 fouls, game 3(he made a couple of late baskets but fisher was the story) game 4 was what it was. bad defense for the WHOLE 4th qtr. cant "klose" a game in any of these situations lol

The five fouls took Kobe out of the game--but he had a chance to have an impact in the 4th, he just didn't--although, it's reasonable given that he had chance to really develop a flow...

Last game though, he definitely could have closed it. I think he was a little tired--he played the entire fourth. But still, when a team is up, then that team has a CHANCE to close it in the fourth. Kobe didn't.

C'mon bballcool34, you seem to be the ONLY Celtic fan with an ounce of sense as far as ball, but I know you're not going to sell me that Kobe had a chance to get in flow in Game 2 ?

He started the quarter with 4 fouls, then on his very first drive to the cup they called him for his 5th on a flop by a Celtic ( can't remember which one). From there he never attacked aggressively again, he resorted to pulling J after J. He never had a rhythm in that game.

if Kobe could get into flow with 5 fouls, then so could Paul Pierce in game 3 and Ray Allen in game 1..

My bad Deep---I used to word "although", so I meant to say that it's reasonable given that didn't have a chance to really develop a flow....
