So this gm just made it even.
there's not a single player in the nba that is great every day. you should go back and watch some more games. saying it was just this game makes you sound like an uninformed lunatic. maybe you are.
obviously given Kobe recent bad games, but when Fish is bad is he is bad on all aspects, defense to taking bad shots, I bet most on these boards were yelling screaming at Fish for those idiotics shots he took in the 3rd qtr, that deep 3, the contested 3 by KG, getting jacked by Rondo cause he was out of control, etc.
oh no doubt, I try and be as objective as I possibly can with the Lakers, and Fish does some dumb things at times (as does every player in the nba if you think about it). he was flat out horrible in long stretches during the regular season, to the point where i was calling for shannon brown to start.
i was wrong. i've already said this earlier in the thread, but he has had some of the most critical plays for this team, and we're not in the finals without him. he takes and hit big shots. he takes charges. he hits free throws. he was even playing solid defense last night, and is part of the reason allen went 0-13. as we know, defense is something he's been struggling with because he's been going against quick PGs with excellent offensive skills. he's still going to have bad stretches and even bad games, but he is without question the best option we have now, and is likely playing top-15-at-his-position basketball. 15 is conservative because i haven't really thought about it.
