True, he knew this was coming, what a coward. They need to change the rules that if coaches have stuff like this happen on their watch, they get fined, big time fines. Players also, you break a law, you need to have criminal charges, jail time, fines also, brought against you.

As it is now, there is no penalty for the right people, only the wrong kids, coaches etc. It's insane, and wrong.

Will never respect Pete Carrol again, nor would I ever buy, root for the Reggie Bush's and Mayo's of the world. I will always boycot anything they do, endorse, teams they play for in buying anything they do.

Neither player took anything that wasnt OFFERED or GIVEN too them. The blame falls soley on the schools in these scenerios. Sometimes you get caught, sometimes you dont.

I have way more sympathy for Reggie's and his family accepting money than for USC. Reggie was a 19 yr old being offered essentially whatever he wanted. USC is an elite athletic institution that deliberately looked the other way (or manipulated) illegal inducements to their players. Sure, they didn't bride OJ Mayo himself, but you can't blame these young kids as much as the grown ass, responsible institutions that functionally incentivize such activity. **** SC.

I guess morals only apply when it comes to the students then? I hope these kids keep taking advantage of every opportunity that arises that they can get away with. When these programs start to care for these kids properly, then i'll hold the kids responsible. Until then my message is take it if you can get it.
