QUEENSBRIDGE

Post#1 » by shannWOW » Wed Jun 16, 2010 9:19 pm

If our 2 QueensBridge players(odom and artest) play well tomorrow like they did in game 6 we are almost unbeatable. If Artest makes his 3's and Odom gets his rebounds and attacks well we will most likely win.
What do you guys think?

Did anyone catch Van Gundy's "Queensbridge" comment when Artest flopped in game 5 after Rondo pushed him? That was pretty damn funny.

I missed that Semi, I remember them saying it was a flop but I missed the comment. I saw it a few times and I thought it was more of Artest getting off balance from the push more than a flop, but I'm probably wrong.

I do know Rondo said that was a foul the refs didn't call last night on Artest when he cut Rondos chin with his flailing arm while getting position. That seemed incidental too, Artest is beast strong, shi* happens. But again I'm not a ref, so I'm probably wrong there too, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night.

It just takes one extra player to step up and help the regular 3 or 4. That one player will make the difference. Just like how Glen Davis did in his one game he was the player of the game. Just like Fisher did in the 4th quarter with the 11 points. Just that one extra help. With a game 7. I am hoping 2 or 3 Lakers step up and give that much more. Luke and Sasha and Shannon could be those players. If so. Kobe will have #5.

Odom is not from Queensbridge. Odom is from Jamaica, Queens. Queensbridge is a different neighborhood.
