What an amazing story for Ron... 2 yrs ago he talked to Kobe in the shower (no homo) and PROMISED to help him after the same Celtics demolished the Lakers. Who would've thunk he WILL ACTUALLY fullfill his promise??? When the clock was running down, Kobe, who couldn't hit a shot, TRUSTED Ron Artest to deliver... and he did. Calmly should I say. WOW.

Ron Ron redeemed himself and fulfilled his promise.

Well its not like he TRUSTED Ron, he just got doubled and he passed it to the first guy he saw open, which happened to be Ron. But its all good, Ron was up for the challenge, and he delivered

This is just incredible for Ron. This is what he came here for. He took slack. But in the end he delivered on BOTH ENDS and IN THE CLUTCH.

Drove by the huge Purple & Gold Banner, about 20 feet high and wide, yesterday before the game hanging off a building so you could see it from the freeway.

It said:

OUR TOWN, OUR TEAM, OUR TIME, ARTEST.

Freaking awesome and so appropos!

The true fans who supported him the entire time dont need to apologize. You have to know what youre getting, and we pretty much got exactly what I expected from him.

first of all, ive supportive this move from the beginning. Because I knew it would pay off in the finals against paul pierce. Thats also the problem, folks were impatient all throughout the process getting here. But if you look at paul pierces production this series, an individual who had killed us previously, RON RON put some serious clamps on him.

So theres no apology really needed from those folks, because its understood. Ron wasnt always a productive player.

BUT DEFENSIVELY AGAINST PAUL PIERCE, he was 10x better than anyone we have had in the past. walton, ariza, radmanovic, no one could check pierce, and he wouldve kicked our ass.

but Ron was brought in to face that challenge. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

props to ron, he got it done defensively, and scored 20pts in the final game as a deal sealer!
