Kobe Bryant Driving

Post#1 » by crazy8ights » Sun Jun 20, 2010 2:01 am

When he gets all his nagging ailments healed and recovered during his vacation. Do you guys think he'll be driving that ball like 08-09 again?

I mean I saw glimpses in the sun series and during his finals press conference he said he was hurt. We all know he was hurt but I still got that "damn yea he's hurt" reaction when it came out of his own mouth season all said and done. Kobe I know you still got hops and with the finger fixed your basketball handles will be at full force again, with that I know I can see more driving highlights next season :D

Kobe hasn't been healthy for a while those fingers are still messed up then he injured another one this year, the knee is also injured but that is from mileage and his ankle this year as well, if all those things get corrected then I think the NBA has a problem lol the Lakers already are a problem but they haven't seen us play to our full potential we have another level we haven't showed yet

im pretty sure he knows whats it going to take next season...

with that being said im sure he'll address his injuries this offseason and take a long well rested vacation.. you got to remember gasol was out for two months (i forget how long exactly) so kobe took it upon him self and was the nba leading scorer, that took a lot out of the black mamba and well left him a little drained at the end of the season then you add the up injuries

now with that being said i really cant wait for next season

Kobe is going to be a 32 yo with a 35 yo old's minutes. You dont get HEALTHIER as you get older. Much like the celtics this past year, injuries are a result of age and wear. If phil continues to play kobe 40+ mpg during the regular season, i can assure you another injury or 2 will pop up. Even with the injuries the lakers are still the best team in the NBA next year, as of right now.

Kobe will never be a driver again, it creates too much wear and tear on his body, it's just not worth it. I'm still impressed that he tried to hammer one at the end of Game 7 on Pierce. I haven't seen him try to finish like that in 3 years.
