what does it take?

Post#1 » by popeye64821 » Sat Jun 19, 2010 10:44 pm

what does it take for kobe bryant to get some respect? when kobe shoots alot you blaim him for being a hog, he passes the ball in game 7 and all of a sudden all of the things kobe has done to get us to game 7 and the fact that he's playing with two busted finers, a busted knee, and a sprained ankle dont matter.. will he finally get his respect from commentators and haters and even some lakers fans once he's retired?

5 titles, 25,000 plus points. Yes he shoots to much some times, but that is his game. Would you rather have him with the ball in his hands and the clock runs out. He is the best closer in the league. He needs some rest, get his knee, finger and whatever else fixed. I sure hope he does not play any ball for the US this summer. Kobe and Pau have played over 300 games in the last 3 years. Might be closer to 330. Time to rest, relax. Go on vacation. Go somewhere that you can use your million of dollars and get things done for you.

Most of us couldnt shoot a basketball and hit the rim w/ 2 busted fingers.
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

You know I've noticed something... it always seems that most of the Kobe Haters tend to to be people in the media. But from those who actually play in the league or the "media guys" that use to play in the league (Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, Tim Legler, etc) Kobe usually gets a lot of respect for what he is able to do on the basketball floor.
