Nets request waivers on *Keyon Dooling*

Post#1 » by The_Commish » Mon Jun 28, 2010 6:53 pm

I think he would be a lot cheaper than re-signing Brown and/or Farmar. He does everything that the both of them do together. He is athletic, he can shoot, not a bad passer or defender, and he even has the Kobe shot in NBA 2K10, so it should be easy for us to use him in the video game.

You are basing the signing of a player on NBA 2k10? That explains what is wrong with this forum...

yeah it looked like a joke about the 2k10 but i think G=K has a legit gripe, too many ridiculous ideas do filter into the forums from people trying to run a team using video games as the base. That's also why I don't see how any team will be getting 3 of these major FA as initially reported with wade/bosh/lebron together, the finances murder the rest of the team and future flexibility, especially assuming Miami doesnt want to pay a ton in luxury tax by using the MLE every time. Yes it would still be a tough team and yes it would be crazy but its not realistic

as for dooling, take the min, take the contract

espn insider rumors has Odom as trade bait and has been dangled around, not sure how much foundation that story has but i am curious to see if he does get moved, where and for whom....should be an interesting summer. the lakers need guard play, period. Our backups have been bad for a long time, including the shaq era when brian shaw and harper were the primary guards along with kobe/fish

For the min he would be acceptable - not ideal. I see Odom as the only realistic trade bait (along w/ Sasha's contract) that we have.

He described why Dooling would be good before his last sentence. Didn't you read it? Did you only skip to the last sentence? The 2k10 thing is obviously a joke. You don't need no damn green font to understand that.
