Re: My Off-Season Plan w/ $#'s
I dont see Shaq signing for much less than 8. I don't even know where he would sign if Cavs don't take him in. Jefferson may be freed up if I were the GM of the CAVs I would prepare for life after James.
Haha this happen on my 2K10 Association I don't think it would be bad. LeBron went to the Knicks ( I set it up that way...) and to my suprise the computer made trades for the Cavs to get young. They brought in Danny Granger and began to rebuild around him! Nice move huh? Long story short Shaq retired....

Matt Barnes is opting out for more $ not less. If he was a vet min candidate he'd just opt in and keep the 1.6 m

All these iffy players opting out for more money are getting some bad advice, not many teams have cap space, and the ones that do are spending it on bigger names than them.

The ones that do need someone to fill up the remaining 11 spots they'll have open on their rosters after the FAs sign.

Yeah the Knicks and Heat have decimated their rosters. They are going to need some one to ride that bench.

I almost cried, after seeing his wife right now. If he could marry her and look like that, this world in unjust.
But all is well and fair in the world.
"He was formerly married to Mexican supermodel Elsa Benitez, the 2001 and 2006 cover girl for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues. They divorced in 2005; they have a daughter, Mila."

Re: My Off-Season Plan w/ $#'s
Odom-Vujajic for Okafor-Collison saves about a 1m and puts the team at just about 81m. Sign Haslem for 4m, sign Bell for the minimum, Fisher for 2.5m and destroy the league. That makes a total of 89.5m including Crittenton, Caracter, and Ebanks.
PG- Fisher (20), Collison(20), Crittenton (8)
SG- Bryant (34), Bell (18)
SF- Artest(34), Ebanks(12), Walton
PF- Gasol (34), Haslem (14), Caracter
C- Bynum(30), Okafor (18)
Excellent big man rotation with a legitimate backup C that could start across a number of teams. A PF that brings a consistent jump shot, rebounding, defense, toughness, and gives a solid 14-16 mpg. We have a PG that can guard those troublesome small quick guards as well as a larger one to replace Shannon Brown and eventually Fisher.
A far deeper much improved roster.

There is no way they give us Collison-Okafor for Odom and Vujacic

I'll smack you in the mouth.

Re: My Off-Season Plan w/ $#'s
I'm not so sure about that. They really want to get rid of that long contract and Odom is a two year 16m contract with a reasonable option that can be dealt to a number of teams. That could easily result in an expiring plus a pick if not a total take over of Odom's contract similar to Kirk Hinrich.
The Hornets save a massive sum and keep Chris Paul.
