Shannon Brown will regret this decision.

The Lakers are jumping for joy ... they can take his 2,2 million and use it on someone better. Now the Lakers can sign two guys (one for 2.5 mill--Miller and another for 1.5 mill--Livingston)/

Dumb athletes and greedy agents are a bad mix.

you act like Brown cares at this point, he already has 2 rings, I would do the same thing If I were him, ne needs to get paid now and stop with your day dreaming of miller taking 2.5 when theres whole bunch of teams that will throw at least MLE at him.

Thank you, Shannon.

Hopefully our FO sees this as an opportunity to spend more of the MLE instead of low-balling it and going after caca like Blake, Ridnour, and Watson (WTF?).

I would be perfectly happy if we spent our full MLE on Miller and did nothing else outside of resign Fisher (pay cut) and pick up Farmar's final year.

Sasha and Farmar can then be moved before the deadline for a starting caliber PG.

If we're lucky though, Bell will accept the BAE and we can just let Farmar go.

Yeah, Mike Miller will take the full MLE, and anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves. We're talking about one of the more efficient scorers, one of the best shooters in this league, plus a solid rebounder and play maker. He's not going to sign for half of the MLE. He deserves, and will get the full MLE.

Are you going to make the same post in an hour? ;) I believe it's pretty official though. His agent is a pretty legit source as far as I'm concerned.

I just think its kind of strange all the much bigger names have already opted out what keeping him from doing the same.
