I really wanted Jermaine O'neal
...and hate that he signed with the Celts. that's all!

“If this is his team, that means no more coming into camp fat/out of shape, no more blaming others for our team’s failure, my team doesn’t mean only when we win it means carrying the burden of defeat just as gracefully as you carry a championship trophy.”

He signed for full MLE. I don't think there was ever a way for him to come LA.

he will do less for them than Sheed did. this signing is completely irrelevant.

JO says he's healthy. I've heard that one before.

He ain't lying, that is him being healthy at this moment in time. Missing 15-20 games a season while playing like a guy who can't actually jump any more is realistically his physical condition right now.

We needed a PG far more than a big man
Celts needed a big man far more than a PF

Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

Re: I really wanted Jermaine O'neal
Celtics make more sense for O'Neal than the Lakers did. In Boston, he has more of an opportunity to contribute. In LA, he would have had to compete for playing time with Odom, Gasol, and Bynum. In Boston, Garnett is willing to give up some minutes to make it to the playoffs, Perkins gets into foul trouble and has injurie issues, and Wallace is gone.
