I'm pretty much long laker hater since the shaq kobe days. I liked you guys back in the nick van exel eddie jones era but I digress. I've hated shaq, i've hated kobe, i've hated fisher, i've hated pretty much everyone short of adam morrison for his rugged good looks and ron artest because crazy people are funny.
Well that's over now.

The preemptive championship celebration in miami i just witnessed was the most disgusting arrogant thing I have ever seen. I hope more than anything that Kobe was watching that. I may not be a lakers fan, but man oh man I will support you guys 100% to take down that evil empire. Good luck

LeBron didnt get lucky and get drafted by Los Angeles either. LeBron didnt have Shaq traded to his team the same summer he was drafted. And kobe did whine about getting traded a few years back, and then the gasol kwame rape job happened

One of the dumbest and most ignorant post i have seen in quite some time. Kobe was not drafted by Los Angeles, if you want to take a cheap shot at least get your facts right homie. Kobe was drafted by the Hornets, he was traded to LA. Shaq wasn't traded to LA, he signed with LA. What does that have to do with Kobe getting him here. Kobe was a FA once and he resigned in LA, the teams he thought about going to were all teams that needed to be rebuilt, he wanted his own legacy, latching on to some other superstar team was never even a consideration. He was talking to NY, Chicago and the Clippers. All those teams were rebuilding and Kobe was intrigued because he wanted to win by being the man. In the end he chose to stay put because LA is his town and he knew he can become the man.

Sure Kobe asked to be traded, but the management wasn't doing anything to help him at that point. Did Kobe not showup like a true professional even though he wasn't traded? He had the team in the #1 seed in January before Gasol was traded here in February.

You want to talke Kwame for Gasol? I will point you Theo Ratliff for KG. The same exact principal in that it was a large expiring. And if you want to go they got Al Jefferson, I like to remind you Memphis got Marc Gasol.

+1. Interesting isn't it? Three go to Miami for a legacy...and it could turn out to be Kobe's. I've liked LA since showtime (except in '83, obviously)... and while those guys had every right to get together on the same team, well...to say it wasn't tastefully done would be an understatement. Good luck this season. And get Lamar off the candy! He needs to bring it this year.
