I know this isn't the same fisher from three years back, but he still delivers for us when he need him to. On offensive sets, he has a high basketball IQ and delivers the ball to where it needs to go. Alot of those fast break triples come during the regular season, not the playoffs. Where as shannon brown's over dribbling occurs numerous times throughout games in both the regular season and the playoffs. Now i am not a hater on shannon brown, and i would love for us to keep him if he can play consistently, but to back up kobe, not back up blake or possibly start.

Yeah Shannon brown didnt have the best post season this year yet he still played better D then Fisher did so his defense offsets his offense

These are actually the types of numbers i expect from brown. (FG%: 43 3p%:310) not much higher then that. And yes overall he is a better defender then fisher, but i think the amount of offensive that he lacks compared to the offensive and defensive of fisher just isn't worth it. Fisher may not be the best defender, but he is surrounded by kobe and artest, and two 7 footers protecting the paint.

are you sure about that Fisher makes every scrub PG look like Magic Johnson. The PG for other teams PG proves that.

What the hell does it matter? Our PG situation is better than it was last year and we won a championship last year.

Game of of the NBA finals

A night where EVERYONE had a bad shooting night
Rondo: 6/13 in 45min
Fisher: 4/6 2/2from 3P in 30min

That was a tremendously close game, and bad offensive game throughout. Yet fisher is the only player for the lakers to shoot over 50% while holding rondo under 50%. KG only other player to shoot above 50%

^Fisher didn't guard Rondo, but your other points are spot on!

To xkriaxxoursx or whatever it is, I'm glad you said you would rather have Iverson than Fisher, now I can ignore everything you ever say in the future without feeling as though I may have missed a valid point among the otherwise idiotic babbling. Not a SINGLE championship contender would take Iverson over Fisher, this year, or for the last few years.

Yet in game 5 that was a must win Fisher shot this
2-9 0-1 from the 3 2 assist and 3 TO
Game 2 another Laker loss Fisher
2-8 from the field 0-2 from 3 PT land
If your going to give Fisher credit for having good games also crussify him for those really bad games he has also. At the end of the day Fisher is a 10 mins a game player He cant pass well shoot well couldnt defend a chair. Only thing he bring in is a "clutch shooting" yet he cant create his own clutch shot.

On a side note, his contract is

3.7 Million
3.4 Million
3.4 MIllion Player Option

This means we have a roster of Kobe, Pau, Bynum, Artest (assuming he takes he picks up his Player Option), Odom, Blake, Walton and Fisher in 2012/2013.
