I watched EVERY minute of EVERY game Caracter played and I would say he is Rodney Rodgers without the range... He is a SOLID rebounder (double digits in all but one game), decent passer, has a bunbdle of low post moves but is foul prone... He WILL make the team...

I'm just glad we picked up two guys who seem like they have a decent amount of potential. If they make it, and end up contributing, that's a huge bonus from a second-round pick. If they don't, nothing lost. But then, I thought Coby Karl had a chance to be good, so I probably don't know what the hell I'm talking about.

Like BOOZ? Nah! I watched in VSL he CAN pass. He CAN'T rebound worth a lick against NBA Bigs, Monroe ate him up on the boards so did Daye.

He has amazing post skills. Caracter can score better than most bigs in the NBA, but can he consistently defend them... Umm I don't know.

People comparing him to Yue need to stop for real, yall sound silly. This kid will be solid pick and if he doesn't play for us Mitch will definitely try to package him in a nice trade. Then we will want Mitch fired because he traded him.

Are you saying that Caracter is going to agree to sign with the Lakers for less money if the Lakers let him out of his contract & then bolt to another team for more money?

Plus the Lakers are contending for a championship, so developing rookies is not a priority & everyone knows that PJ doesn't like to play rookies. Basically it would be highly unlikely that Caracter could even approach the minutes that Powell played last year...unless of course all 82 games the Lakers play are giant blow outs & over by the end of the 3rd quarter.

The likelihood of blowouts this year is actually higher than previous years because of the great exodus of talent that went east. Not that every game is going to be a cakewalk, but I think we'll see more this year, and hopefully the rooks will get more burn.
