As a Bulls fan, I hate the Lakers. I rooted for the Celtics in 2008, and the Magic in 2009.

...But after the Bulls-Celtics series that set the record for overtime games, where Rondo threw Hinrich into a scorers table and a double technical was called on both of them, and Rondo punched Brad Miller in the face and didn't recieve a technical...

I rooted for you guys to destroy them this year.

And if you face the Heat in this years finals(which I believe will happen) I will be rooting 100% for the Gold and Purple.

For the record, I believe that you guys will beat them. You match up with them very well. Gasol, Bynum, and Odom can all guard Bosh, Artest can guard Lebron, Kobe can guard Wade, and Raja Bell can guard Wade and Lebron. You might be the toughest defensive matchup for the Heat.

And then there's big men. Every NBA champion of all time has had big men that are good at rebounding and defense. Who on the Heat can do that? Haslem was a championship banger big man in 2006, but he's older now and instead of Posey, 2006 Shaq and Zo, he has Bosh, Lebron, and whoever the Heat are playing at Center. Gasol, Bynum, and Odom should be able to dominate the big men of the Heat.

The team that won the rebounding battle won every game of the NBA finals, in the book "Wages of Wins" economists say that rebounding is the most underrated stat becuase it's almost as important as a steal- it's a change of posession.

So my point is...Go Lakers?

 dont worry we know its temporary, i speak for myself when i say if its any other team facing the Heat i'll be rooting for the other team.

Yes there are bigger better teams to focus on, and im not handing over the EC to the Heat, but having said that, you cannot deny the way legands and b-ball fans alike have been polarized by this move in Miami.

IMO it just reeks too much of "get rich quick" instead of honing your skills and establishing your own legacy.

But ya....welcome to any NBA fan who roots for us against the Heat come Christmas :D
