Well Slava at least you pointed to the center of your frustration. But tell me this, what player these days doesn't talk in some "self protective" manner ? Drew has every right to be that way especially seeing as this could be the biggest pay days he's collecting on now.

My answer to you would be Kobe. But heres the problem, Kobe is our standard of excellence, he trains hard and handles his business in his off-time to make a great attempt to be on the floor once the season starts. Its funny because everyone I know cant stand Bynum because they think he's robbing the lakers. I always remind them that they cannot compare Kobe to Bynum and their work ethics because Kobe is on a different level. I think some people have a problem with Bynum the way I had a problem with LO when he was our second option. LO was a horrible number two option. Now that he is the 4th or 5th option I could care less. I assume some people think because Bynum is the rumored future franchise player and making the big bucks that he should put more effort then what is giving off. Bynums stock went up last year in the playoffs when he played hurt....he showed heart. But the moment he didnt get his surgery done as soon as possible people had a problem with it. Perception is reality. I told people he was young and has had surgey for the prior two years of his career so hes never really had a summer to just kick it as a young man, but people dont want to hear that from a player making 10+ mill a year. Especially a laker player

How is having surgery on time stopping him from kicking it in the summer? He wouldn't have been drinking alcohol anyways since he'd still be rehabbing that injury. Other than that unless he's going to be bed ridden he'll have enough chance to hang his boots and relax for the next season until training camp.

Kobe attended the world cup too but the issue is that Bynum is a slow healer and everyone knows it including himself. Taking all factors into account attending the world cup shouldn't be at the expense of missing 15 games.

I read that and it doesn't require Kobe-like dedication to plan a surgery on time. Bynum and his doctor slipped up on scheduling it well and that's how the whole issue started. His doctor gave the wrong prognosis and changed his mind after a second examination once Drew returned from Africa.

The problem is that neither of them were smart enough to leave time for the worst case scenario which is what ended up happening.

I wonder what the topic would be like had it been LO or Artest in this situation.

This certainly isn't constructive and its more repetitive than anything else. All you've been doing in this thread is attacking people with a differing point of view and kissing the backside of anyone who agrees with you.

Now if this aint the pot calling the kettle black! Where is your convo constructive? Complaining about his money & how it could have been spent on some fantasy player that you can't either name or prove would be a better fit other than D12 who Orlando wouldn't let go for cheap. Honestly your acting like a straight up garden tool about the situation.

I don't have to kiss nothing from nobody. Dcash just lit that @$$ & that was all to it! I brought out the fact on how we won the title with whatever minutes he gave us & how he outplayed the whole Celtics front line on a bum knee. So if that's not being constructive about a player maybe you need to look that word up. Matter of fact i'll do it for you, constructive is defined as: promoting improvement or development. I rest my case.

Quit acting like a 3rd grader because you got broke down in 3's & got yo a
@$$ lit up like a Christmas Tree.

You can single my posts out all you want, but i'll be here ready willing & waiting. Trust me bruh.

Well I agree with you as far as the worst case scenario, but we still dont know exactly what was wrong with Bynums knee. They never said. And as far as LO or Artest, no one would have cared because they dont make anything close to what Bynum makes. Keep in mind, your still dealing with a yourng 20 yrs old. Give the guy a break.

He doesn't understand those words and anybody who does understand is a Bynum lover.

Well this has gone as south as it needs to and before I bring down my own IQ I'll lock this. Open a new thread if and when there's any updates.

If other mods think this needs to be reopened please go ahead.
