Are you kidding? he's obviously the only one who's not blinded by some clear homerism.

As for Barkley's comments... lol he's just creating some drama by 'speaking his mind'. Like someone said, he likes playing devil's advocate... I think it would be hard pressed to find anyone who would seriously rank Kobe in the top 5 at this stage. When his career is all over, that's another different story altogether... or it may not. We shall see.

I think he's top 10 right now 1 more ring it's going to be hard to say he's not in the top 5-6 of all time

no arguments about top 10 from me that's for sure. I've got him at 8 behind the 'Immortal 6' and Shaq (mainly due to his peak) and slightly ahead of Duncan... though some days depending on my mood I'd put him at 7 or 9. so pretty much 7-9 right between between Shaq, Duncan and Kobe.

with the way things are going, I can see Kobe winning another 1-2 rings + 1-2 Finals MVP and MAYBE one MVP + the usual All NBA / All - Defense stuff, and that will certainly push him into the top 5-6 ahead of Bird and possibly Magic. People may say his defense is really just reputation, but so what? it's still an award an if they want to give it to him, it's his. haters gon' hate regardless.

If the Lakers by some miracle pull of a 5-peat then he's gonna leap frog quite a bit and imo into top 3 (I don't think he'll ever pass MJ or Kareem), for the same reason Russell is up there. I mean it's hard to argue with 8 rings.

I used like tnt now it seems Chuck gotten even more stupid over the years. When I am watching their games/halftime show have been torture bunch of stupid former players who annoy the hell out of me. Kevin Mchale/Chris Webber need to get the hell off the air now they are both just the worst. A lot of times they say stupid things who cares how can you realistically have an all time top 5??
