:( I was only lucky enough to catch the final 5 minutes of the game. Fishy shot clock malfunctioning aside, we have to give credit where credit is due.

Lol. Deron Williams really really hates us. And imo, he's the best point guard in the league. He's always impressed me by his leadership abilities and willingness to propel his team when they need him the most, and against a caliber club like ours tonight, he displayed that. He doesn't back down against anyone.

Tough loss to swallow, but I'm already over it. On to the next game.

Good game, these are always fun. Kobe almost did it in the fourth again with a classic performance but a couple of possessions left you just short.

Bryant had 31 points and was percolating in the fourth quarter with 14 in a row, but he couldn't catch up to an unexpected pass from Gasol near the top of the key with 1:05 to play, Deron Williams scooping up the ball and feeding Raja Bell for an easy layup and 98-96 lead.

"I made the wrong decision," Gasol said. "We talked about something on the timeout and I decided to do something different on the play. He wasn't expecting it. I was supposed to fake [the pass] and take it to the rim myself. Didn't happen."

Bryant called it a miscommunication and Jackson said it "changed the context of the game."

Tough game to swallow... but it is what it is.

Utah's bench played great starting from the 2nd quarter. Was one of those games where our bench couldn't produce the way we've gotten used to seeing. Blake and Brown were hardly remembered in this game. Barnes had decent minutes.

Pau on the bench with Caracter against Jefferson was a bad idea. I understand Pau needs some rest but this just shows how much we need Bynum (or a temporary big) to fill that gap.

IMO i think we should have had Barnes in the last 2 minutes instead of Ron. No offense to Ron but at this point i'm more confident with Barnes taking that open 3 that could have tied the game.

On to the next one.

On another note, Dallas will win the West this year. Nobody will beat that team, they won in Atlanta, won at OKC, won vs Boston, won vs OKC and tonight they roll into SA and owned them like they have been owning them.

meh, I much rather have these hiccups in the regular season opposed to the playoffs. This will keep the complacency down....I hope. If the Lakers can learn something from their mistakes I much rather have a "L" than a "W" if it makes the team better in the near future. I think yesterdays lessons was the bench, for as good as they have been really has to focus and play extra hard on the road. That includes offense and defense.

This was his response to me saying they would be respected more if they posted before a game is won or loss.

It was quite obvious to most of us why they were here, yet they're trying to come off as we're pissed because we lost......news flash Jazz fan the Jazz won't be the only team to beat the Lakers this year. Grow up

Nahh your not annoyed or pissed at all. This whole post was just about ........ ???

You seriously can't think that we are annoyed .
We are the defending two time Champions thus far and on pace to getting Phil his 4th Three Peat.
Jazz played toughed and this win for them was well deserved in their house.

ALot of people say the Lakers' Fan Base is the most ignorant and biased.
Yet your the one who felt the need to voice out how how happy you are to see Laker fans upset after a loss in the Lakers Forums???? LoL
Seems to me you're the one who has taken alot of the losses to the heart as it got under your skin.

I always respected the Jazz and Coach Sloan.
As for the rivalry both teams need to clock in some more meaningful wins against each other in order for it become a Real Rivalry.

Lakers and Celtics .... Rivalry.

Lakers and Jazz....... Not really.

P.S
You asked for it son.

UTJazzFan_Echo1 wrote:I love hearing Jackson **** about the shot clock. So funny... it had nothing to do with them losing. They lost because they were too stupid to run some plays for Kobe and let Artest chuck up a couple shots instead.

BTW, I made sure to pay close attention to Phil during the game since I was sitting right down by the bench... he more than confirmed my belief that he is the most over-rated coach of all time. He hardly pays attention to the game unless he has something to moan about (which is almost always something stupid) and he doesn't even come over to talk to the team until the last 15-30 seconds of timeouts. They should be calling delay of games on them all game long....they stand in a huddle for 30-45 seconds after the buzzer sounds for the timeout to end. Jackson is such a pathetic, over-rated POS. I can't stand the guy and I have zero respect for him.

Now i don't normally read other team's threads but ours... not sure why i looked at theirs but after reading this... That's probably the first PJ hater i've seen.
