I can't wait until our rematch with Boston next thursday! Gasol and Bynum better step up bigtime. I'm tired of people blaming kobe (mostly non-laker fans), but did they even watch the game. Kobe gave the ball up plenty of times, gasol/bynum stand in the post, can't do anything, then kick it back out to Kobe with 5 on the shot clock looking for a bailout.

As for Artest, I really don't know what to say. He has dropped off so bad on the offensive end! He even looks uncomfortable doing lay-ups. And when he doesn't come with the defensive intensity, he is useless out there!

Nonetheless, we have some big games coming up within the next week, two in particular I am really looking forward to - vs the Spurs (this thursday) and vs Boston (Next Thursday). Two teams that beat us bad. I really hope the lakers adjust and bring some intensity into the games, because we have not beaten any good teams this year and im tired of hearing its just regular season.

Yeah ILLMATIC, with Kobe it's damn if you do, damn if you don't......he can't win either way. In theory this team is deep but we don't play up to potential at all. We're 0-4 against the elite contenders, I've been check'in fools on the GB and trying to dispute semi-sentient by being an optimist but at the rate we're going my swag is dimming with each loss.

Bottom line is they have to ask themselves when will they start doing things the right way and kick some ass for a change. A 8-9 game streak can shut up a lot of doubters quick

Lakers were only down 3 with 4 minutes left. People need to stop over reacting. They collapsed but it's not like they were never in position to win the game.

it doesnt look good for us. thats the key for that last loss against sactown. we needed a victory to keep the pace with the others in our conference.

but the reason it doesnt look good for us, is not because we suck or boston is good or whatever. but historically, the team that loses the finals the previous year, usually comes back the first game the following year and puts FULL CONCENTRATED EFFORT into winning the next year. happens many a time.

now i hope im wrong. but this was one of the reasons i was pissed about that loss last night. rack up the easy victories when weve got them. and battle in the hard fights when they come. we didnt rack up the easy win. and believe this, boston wants to exact some sort of revenge and send some sort of message tomorrow. cant explain why, but usually from what ive seen in years gone by, the losing team may or may not have a good season, but they sure as hell want to exact some sort of revenge against the team that took them down in the finals.

How does Pierce do it. He looks out of shape and past his prime, and looks like he's never been to a gym, yet he fills it up with Mamba like it's nothing. What's his secret?

1. Truth remains in his prime at age 33.

(in last 24 seconds) shots AND ASSISTS since 2003, he is locked in as a future HOFER.
3. If you guys get past the Spurs, Paul would love to be Finals MVP again.
4. Truth has always been Mamba, LeQueen & DWade without the flash &
glitz. He is the most underrated Super Star wing of his generation.
5. He actually is a gym rat & in great shape.
