Mayo > Undersized point guard that doesn't play defense.

brooks can stay in front of quick pgs. if its an obvious mismatch.. kobe/artest can guard em. we dont need a "triangle" point guard. who the eff says that so necessary? is fish a pure pg? not really. what we need is deadly 3 pt shooting, and a pg who can penetrate/ someone who has some speed. we got NO speed on this team. imagine the floor spacing if we had brooks in the corner..

I think Mayo could play the point in our system for a while, he's a pretty good defender and probably a better spot up shooter then Brooks. He seems like he could be a nice Ron Harper/ B Shaw type guy for this system for a year or two as he grows.

Yea he is a tiny lil somethin'! Phil usually likes bigger guards so I would go with Mayo, although having another O.J. in L.A. might not be good!

It's fine he just wouldn't be allowed to own a Bronco :D

and dont marry a white woman :D[/quote]

Obviously OJ Mayo, silly question. Mayo is a pro typical triangle offense point guard. However, now that Gay is injured I don't see them moving Mayo

Mayo has never dated a white women before, so I don't think he starts now. From the end of his first year in college to about the first few months into his rookie season he was dating Lauren London. Now, he is dating a track star if I remember reading correctly.
OJ Mayo , Michael Jordan , Allen Iverson.

I keep reading that Brooks isnt a true pg but then I read that the triangle doesnt need a true pg. Well doesnt that make brooks a good fit? I wouldnt mind seeing any of them on our team btw

I'd love to see brooks. A PG who can actually create and keep the D on their heels. This would make life so much easier for the Bigs and Kobe. He can't shoot worse than our PGs now.
