Re: **LAKERS @ SPURS-ABC-3/6-12:30 PACIFIC**
I wanted to make a new topic regarding Drew but I saw you guys were talking about it here
.
From what I remember seeing, Drew got touches, but he simply handed the ball off and wasn't lookign for his shots. Like Deep said, anything he gets offensively is a plus but he is more than capable of getting his. I was highly impressed by his impact defensively today though..it was Dwight-esque. Yes he wasn't blocking everything, but he controlled the paint and shut down his man. I'm eating serious crow if he could stay healthy and make similar impact in the playoffs, considering I wanted Melo so bad. Overall, I don't think we'll make all the shots we made today the way we did today, but as long as we should up with defensive intensity like today and play crisp within the triangle, and Kobe is healthy, we are the team to beat. Like many of us said before...the "proverbial switch" has been turned on. I'm trying to not get ahead of myself but I'm really pumped for the end of the season/playoffs!

Lakers have ATL, MIA and DAL coming up, Im hoping you guys go 3-0 and stomp all over Dallas and Miami. Do you guys think the Lakers will make a better showing against MIA this thursday?

better than christmas? Haha its hard to not have a better showing than that embarrasing performance. This team is a completely different team than the team in december, but Miami is desperate and they'll be going hard for the win. Bynum and Gasol are the difference makers...Gasol needs to outplay Bosh and Drew needs to stay out of foul trouble. If we make Wade and Lebron jump shooters...I like our chances

We'll see how much better than Christmas Day they actually are against Miami but chances are Miami will struggle establishing anything in the post with Bosh or Wade, which means LeBron-drive and kick or Wade drive and-kick time.

That day LeBron was making every jump shot he took -_- he was 5/5 from deep at a point

And Gasol was getting owned by Z. That won't happen again, all we have to do is feed the paint eaters in Bynum and Gasol and we win. I think we'll have a much better showing against Miami, but they'll be desperate for the win, more so than our need to avenge Christmas Day. I just hope we win, because everybody and their mamma has beaten Miami. I'd hate for us to go 0-2.

Yeah he was better. I was worried. See that proves he knows better, he just chooses to not do better when he feels he can get away with it.
