Kobe: I'm Still Trying To Kill People

Post#1 » by KhanAir23 » Thu Mar 10, 2011 6:08 am

Ahead of their rematch on Thursday, Kobe Bryant was asked to analyze why the Heat have struggled lately.

“It takes a little adjusting, I guess,” Bryant said of LeBron and Dwyane Wade. “I don’t know, I’m still trying to kill people.”

The Lakers have not lost since the All-Star break.

“I think the difference between us,” Bryant said, “is that we all know what our roles are. Everything’s cemented for us. I think for them, they’re still trying to figure that out, so it makes it a little tougher.”

Kobe doesnt care abt the Heat. After all when asked abt lebron and wade - He basically pulled a 'do you smell-lalalalou.... what the Rock is cookin'
And answered back with a 'it doesnt matter what goin on with wade and lebron Jabroni!'

Gotta love Kobe for his humility sometimes.. lol

I'd be a little more cautious about this being printed before the game. THe media always want to stir something up. A loss to the Heat means everything is ok in South Beach once again and it will also means that the Lakers are 0-2 vs Miami, it also means Miami will be 2-9 vs the elite with the 2 wins vs us. Furthermore it will mean Kobe has gone 0-4 vs Lebron in head to head in the past 2 years and it also means we are winless vs Lebron since acquiring Artest. LA needs this game tomorrow.

Jordan was 1-3 against the Jazz in '97 and '98 -- in the regular season. The story was very much different in the NBA Finals though.

I'm not saying we're going to face off against the Heat in the Finals or anything, but no one is going to remember us going 0-2 against the Cavs or Heat in the regular season. Except for Cavs/Heat/LeBron fans.

We were 0-2 against the Magic in 09. Everyone knows how that turned out in the finals...

I think the response was to the question 'what's it like playing with a bullseye on your back?' but either way I love the quote.
