They beat us twice and Lebron's teams have always beaten us. There is indeed a reason to be concerned.

Playoffs are a whole different thing. Btw Miami didn't beat us in the last game, we beat our selves. I don't see them getting 18 offensive rebounds against us in 4/7 games and plus 7 game series are about making adjustments, you see spolestra out coaching phil? I'm still not scared of the heat just because Lebron teams have always beaten us. If Kobe plays the right way and trusts his teammates we should have no problem beating the Heat

I agree. If it's any team thats going to stop us from 3-peating its the Miami Heat. They'll be a dangerous team when they get Udonis back in the line-up and with the aggressive way Bosh has been playing as of late if they keep it up I wouldn't be surprised if they knock out Boston and head to the Finals. There's only one player that can prevent us from repeating and thats Kobe Bryant. As Semi said, Kobe wants to prove that he's still Kobe and that he's one level above everyone else in the league, so he tries to take games over and in the process he's taking horrible shots, basically making everyone else around him spectators. If Kobe gets over the whole Kobe vs. whoever, and actually trust his teammates then we should be fine. But if he tries to go Hero mode then it'll be a long series which will probably end up with us having bad tastes in our mouths and shaking our heads as Phil leaves us.

Match him up against a physical defender like KG and he goes back to his jump shooting self

I think Boston will actually start winning. Would be nice, though. We also have some tough games, albeit at home.

tbh, im much more worried about making it to the finals than who we might eventually play should we make it.

portland scares the EFF out of me with wallace. if artest doesnt play durant like last year, OKC will be a tough out as well. both dallas and the spurs are better than they were last year. even denver could give us fits, especially if a guy like JR Smith gets hot.

i have a feeling that if we make it to the finals, nobody is stopping us.

I hate Boston but they got mad disrespected last year, everyone saying they might not even make it out of the first round. I wouldn't underestimate those group of guys, Perkins or not.

As for the Bulls I think we can put them away in 5 game 6 at the most. Rose will be our only problem. Boozer and Noah will have a tough time guarding Bynum, Gasol and Odom. Artest will take care on Deng, Bryant wont be stopped by Brewer, Bogans or Korver.

As
i see it the top four team will advance to the second round. The Spurs will face off against the Thunder and that will leave us to get rid of Dallas. Then we can wait for San Antonio to get done with a 7 game series with the Thunder. As for Portland I understand where your coming from. They are built just like us only difference is that they are team B to our team A.

SF:Artest vs. Batum
PF:Gasol vs. Aldridge
C:Bynum vs. Camby
SG:Bryan vs. Matthews
PG:Fisher vs. Miller

as for the bench
SF:Barnes vs. Babbitt
PF:Odom vs. Wallace
C:Gasol vs. Collins
SG:Brown vs. Roy
PG:Blake vs. Mills

this team looks just like us

chicago lost to indiana just now, and boston are down 25 in houston.

if SA take care of dallas, and the lakers need to take care of minny

today would have been absolutely perfect for the lakers

except, they're less experienced, more injury prone, softer and all positions and less talented across the board

Since when was Bosh considered a superstar?
7 seasons, 1 2nd-team All-NBA, 0 All-Defensive teams, 5 lotteries. Career: 211-320. Playoffs: 3-8.

Inflated stats due to playing 38-40 minutes on a **** team and having a Center in Bargs who doesn't rebound.

Definitely disappointed in the Hornets inability to close out the Celtics. With the road games that the Celtics still have left, I think it's possible, but we have to make sure we beat the difficult games ahead (i.e. San Antonio, Dallas and @Portland).

One task at a time. First one is win all the regular season games as we can. Then the playoffs will give the Lakers Portland or New Orleans or Memphis. Got to win that series and move onto the next. Not even concerned about who comes out of the east at this time. Got to focus on the next game and only that. One step at a time.

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
