Go back a few pages in this thread and get what we're saying about it. Basically it's not as good for you as you think. I'm guessing you're a young dude who thinks milk is good for you. I ask you this you ever wonder why you see other milk alternatives in the stores now ?

A lot of that is because of all the vegans out there now who refuse to drink animal products or whatever. It's good for me though because I'm lactose intolerant.

Gonna have to find some almond milk, that sounds delicious.

Yeah Hunter almond milk is good, secondly how can you still drink milk being lactose intolerant ?
Lactose intolerance is the inability to digest lactose, which milk contains. If you're lactose intolerant you usually suffer from stomach cramps or gas. You won't suffer this drinking almond milk or rice milk.

Don't laugh, but Hemp Milk is by far the best tasting milk on the market. My old lady buys it all the time and I can't get enough of it ... rather expensive though.

Note: It's not made with weed for all you dense mothersuckers out there.

I've tried it, but didn't think too highly of it.

Damn ALL HAIL.....your lady is shelling out about $38-$45 bones for that milk ? Whew that's some expensive stuff. But seeing as they can't grow hemp seeds here in the US, I can see why it's so pricey.

I'd recommend reading the following blog post about dairy and eggs: http://www.davidoliverio.com/2010/12/th ... -and-eggs/

From the blog post:
For those who cannot give up on milk, try low sugar soy milk, almond milk or rice milk as alternatives.

I know him personally and he's very knowledgeable/experienced when it comes to this stuff, although he's also a hardcore vegan so you have to take that into account if you read some of his other blog posts (especially the ones dealing with meat/protein). Dairy products aren't good for you though, and that's the gist of what you'll get out of that article.

Oh, and I just had a chance to finish up the game from Friday (fell asleep), and that was a lame ass foul from Bynum. I didn't like Odom and Barnes trying to provoke Beasley after the fact either. That, to me, shows mental weakness. Guys have to keep their composure in situations like that, and talking trash to a guy who just took a hard fall is... well, lame.

Giving a hard foul is one thing, but that was just stupid.

He's not technically wrong, from other articles I've read, but he definitely goes a little overboard in focusing on only the negative aspects of eggs. He might have said something to the effect of "If you can't give up eggs, then try to eliminate the yolk and only eat egg whites" to sound a little less biased towards "meats" or whatever eggs are classified as.

Dub I can't remember exactly what it was about the soy milk but its something with it over the long haul that's why it isn't as popular as it use to be. Look it up because it alludes me right now.

I believe it has to do with hormones, possibly lowering testosterone and increasing estrogen, which leads to man boobs. :P

I have learned to accept the gas

But seriously, I just don't drink much of it, and soy milk just tastes...funky.

Interesting, I drink a lot of skim milk with my protein shakes. I'll look into almond milk next time I'm shopping. I'm currently getting involved with a dietitian so I can pique her brain about this. :)

I absolutely love eggs though, can't quit on them.
