I have a very credible source actually that confirms either Pau or his girl was cheating, this is a fact. I can't tell you how I know and I can't be specific about it but it is very embarassing for Pau I will say that.

One of my homies from work is from Spain.

He goes back every other summer for vacation and he told me that there was rumors over there that Pau was caught numerous times hanging out with this Woman who played on the Spain Olympic Volleyball team.

Nothing is set in stone but it is what I was told.

IMO it's definitely believable because in Spain Pau's like the #1 athlete rockstar. (Well him and Nadal) Pretty sure he can land any tail he wants while in Spain. Anything is Possible.
Plus his ex is smoking but she is like up to Pau's elbow.
Maybe Pau wanted to beat some bigger new cheeks. LoL

I have confirmed from a VERY GOOD source in the organization that Pau's feelings were hurt because one of the other players was fooling around with his girlfriend. Pau let it get in the way of the team chemistry. We all saw what it did to him during the playoffs.

I have legit inside sources that tell me the real reason Pau sucked it up these playoffs was because his girlfriend forgot to buy him his monthly supply of Frosted Flakes. Pau says "They're great!" and without his favorite breakfast cereal they got into a huge argument, leading to his depressed and lethargic play.

I dont think theres any truth to it, Kobe and Pau have both dismissed the rumor, Pau by saying media is making things up, and Kobe said "they barely know eachother"

Dismissed or not, sooner or later, people within the organization are going to have to address this issue, and it will come out to the public, so until I hear or see something thats coming out of the Lakers organization, I dont believe any of the rumors.

Whatever it is, they totally acted like fools and even had the temerity to end Phil Jackson's last season in a distasteful way. It was just disrespectful to be honest.. to Dr Buss, to Phil, to Mitch, and especially to us fans, who pay/paid a lot of money to see the games, only to see these "professional" athletes act like kids. John Ireland said the Kobe and Pau are as close as ever and he can't see any change in their relationship, let alone a negative one. He said he sat behind the bench and paid more attention after the rumor started he said they are fine. He did hint at there being issues behind the scenes but it ain't a Pau and Kobe beef.

If there is an issue than it will have consequences on the roster. If the chemistry between some main players is bad, than one of them has to leave and it's no question who that would be.
