Both can be had, the impending new CBA will dictate what they can make. Financially neither was going to get in the 6-8 mil range anyway.

Brooks has no choice seeing as to how he wrecked his rep with Houston. And as far as Landry....again no one is going to pay him more than the MLE period.
LApwnd wrote: 2nd both their respective team would match MLE's.
No...the Suns aren't matching and neither is N.O. for Landry, part of the reason they got him because they knew he was expiring. N.O. being in a cash strapped situation as is will look to save for CP3 first and foremost.
LApwnd wrote: Also what does Landry do and where is his PT coming from with Odom as the primary backup PF?
This was the problem with our team in the first place, people tend to forget Odom is naturally a 3 always has been. He was converted into a 4 once he went to Miami in 2003. Having Landry will allow LO to move back to the 3. Imagine a line of LO, Landry and Drew. We need to minimize Ron's minutes at the 3. If Shannon leaves Matt takes all of the 2 minutes. We'll have better depth in the front court period.

Again No...trust me LA, the Suns aren't matching that and secondly Brooks can't command the max MLE. My thinking is that the Lakers maybe give him the BLE since we haven't used it in a while.
