With him taking on most of the load down low, offensively & defensively. Last but not least DEEP pointed out Aaron Brooks & Carl Landry to the bench. This would go a long way with this team.

1st have to ask how can you get either one? Brooks or Landry aren't accepting MLE's, 2nd both their respective team would match MLE's. Also what does Landry do and where is his PT coming from with Odom as the primary backup PF? Brooks is intriguing but Pho will match our offer EASILY.

I'll work on my annual off-season plan soon. Lol.. too many factors though with the CBA and everything that have to be dealt with first.

Both can be had, the impending new CBA will dictate what they can make. Financially neither was going to get in the 6-8 mil range anyway.

Brooks has no choice seeing as to how he wrecked his rep with Houston. And as far as Landry....again no one is going to pay him more than the MLE period.

No...the Suns aren't matching and neither is N.O. for Landry, part of the reason they got him because they knew he was expiring. N.O. being in a cash strapped situation as is will look to save for CP3 first and foremost.

This was the problem with our team in the first place, people tend to forget Odom is naturally a 3 always has been. He was converted into a 4 once he went to Miami in 2003. Having Landry will allow LO to move back to the 3. Imagine a line of LO, Landry and Drew. We need to minimize Ron's minutes at the 3. If Shannon leaves Matt takes all of the 2 minutes. We'll have better depth in the front court period.

Again No...trust me LA, the Suns aren't matching that and secondly Brooks can't command the max MLE. My thinking is that the Lakers maybe give him the BLE since we haven't used it in a while.

C'mon Slav......that's kinda off track. Mills is way too inconsistent. You think it's a reason he's buried on the Blazer bench ?

And Dragic is another inconsistent diva too.......I know your train of thought was based on his 3pt shooting. I will acknowledge we do need improvement big time, I just think we can do better.

Dragic has been very consistent when given the minutes in Phoenix, he just happened to walk into a tough situation in Houston with Lowry playing his best basketball. I think he'd thrive on our team, kind of a smarter, more talented Sasha.

Patty Mills is a low risk high reward acquisition.

If we start Blake our 2nd unit could look like this:

Drew or Pau/LO/Barnes/Mills/Dragic with Fisher playing spot minutes. This would be that high tempo line up we've missed all through last season.

Both guards can break down the D off the dribble, shoot well and when combined with LO and Barnes on the wing, that's a dangerous scoring line up.

I was sorta thinking that Slav, Dragic basically is Sasha. I'm a little concerned about Mills for some reason.

Deep-

I have to disgree on all your points, 1st off NOH Is no longer cash strap that thorton trade resolved that in addition to the Peja buy out, in addition West will likely opt out thus leaving Noh w/o a quality PF, would you rather pay Landry MLE or give West who's coming of a major knee surgery looking for a big pay day? they WILL match Landry MLE offeres and I highly doubt he'll get just MLE, looking at this years crop of FA PF on the top of my head the next closes quality guy is Fat boy Davis and he cant even sniff Landry jock. Odom is natural 3 but is much better mismatch at the 4 due to his speed, his shooting is inconsistent to be a 3, evident by his struggle during the playoffs coming off his best shooting % during the regular season and even if Odom is the covered back to the backup 3, where does that leave Barnes?

As for Brooks sure he damaged his rep in Hou but there will be other teams willing to throw some form of MLE at him, the thought of getting him for BLE is kinda ridiculous, you dont think a team would match $2mill/yr even if said team is cheap arse Pho? We gave that bum Blake 4mill/yr and you think we can get Brooks for $2mill/yr? I hope you right at that regards because I like him as well but I just dont see it.
