Chalmers is having a great Finals run. Have you seen him play? I'm very impressed. We will see how it pans out for the heat. Right now you just have to respect them and give them their props. Wade is playing like a Finals MVP and Lebron is doing his thing. Let's hope that the Lakers add some more pieces around the core and let's see what we can do. Right now if the Lakers would of been in the Finals I think Miami would of ran them out the gym.

I am pretty sure that if the Lakers were in the finals they would have been playing better then they did against the Mavs. So considering that, I highly doubt they would run us out of the gym like some of you on here think.

This Heat team would beat us in a relatively short series.
The way these guys rotate on defense and cover for each other is unbelievable.
They are a lock down defensive team, and very atheletic.
It's more than just a point guard problem.
They are just younger and much better defensively.

They remind me of the Bulls and the Pistons in how they play D.

They don't have a particularly good offensive scheme.
Just a lock down defensive team.

We would have lost games, 1,2,4 and 6 and gone down 2-4 ... Miami would play even better and more inspired against us than against the Mavs as they fear and respect the Lakers more.

Wouldn't have a chance against Miami.

If the Lakers made it to the finals... Win loose or draw, I wouldn't be as damned bored as I am right now with sports...

We wouldn't still be talking about Barnes re-upping... We wouldn't be lamenting the day Ariza... Farmar... And Sasha left...

And we probably wouldn't be overly concerned with the over-all merits of our late second round draft picks...

Damn, I'm bored... :banghead: :sleep2:

I'm a Heat fan.

Are you guys insane? I realize the Lakers didn't play up to their potential in these playoff's but do you see what Tyson Chandler is doing to us?

Can you imagine what Bynum would do over a 7-game series? He'd average about 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 3-4 blocks per game.

Put Bynum on Bosh and he's done. Bosh is scoring all his points when that French dude is on him. Gasol can sit around and laugh while 'defending' Joel Anthony.

We're not big enough and PJ would coach circles around Slowstra. And even though I don't like him, you best believe Kobe (Side note: Kobe showed up in the Mavs series, it was the rest of the guys minus Bynum that didn't) WOULD dominate LeBron. LBJ has been a no-show all series.

Lakers problem was that Dallas shot the **** lights out, the Lakers got lazy on rotations, and they were tired. That's it, there's nothing else to it.

If they can even get decent guards this season that can play solid team defense they'll be back.

it comes down to what ive been sayin before we made the move . . . who is blake going to guard? the guy is a gigantic defensive liability and we become slow, slow, slow. the thing the heat have is explosive team speed. and we have no speed with fish and then blake.

Match ups.. we were playing our best basketball in a long time after the all star break and we still lost to Miami.

We sucked on fastbreaks and slowed the pace down really bad, Dallas on the other hand push the ball and make 3s. We kind of became too predictable by dumping the ball into the post.

Play a zone on us and we are done.
