Re: Q & A With Mr Jellybean Bryant
interesting to hear from a parent's perspective.
also liked what he said about pau. play tall. I get that pau was a major disappointment in the playoffs. I just think based on how consistent he's been on the whole as a Laker that he'll get it back next year. He was playing his best ball in the first months of the season. it's something he can still do. he just can't play too many minutes early on. especially out of position. yeah he looked awful against Dirk, but IMO that's the one guy who is more skilled with his size. Dirk is pau's kryptonite. it's that simple. whereas iirc when we used to have dallas' number back in kobe's 63-61 days it was lamar who took Dirk out od his game. that's on PJ.
and regardless Dirk was on a mission this year. a runaway freight train. maybe he couldn't be stopped. at least once he realized they coul beat us in game 1.
and as much as I love bynum, we've been at our best when pau and lamar are working together. I didn't see enough of that last year. hopefully mike brown knows how to juggle all 3.
