There's a reason why Fisher is the president of the Players Association. He knows exactly what to say...

Do you honestly think any professional basketball and player is "underpaid?" Maybe in contrast to their peers, but none of these guys are worth the paychecks they're cashing. This is probably why I side with the owners here, but I also think the owners need to sacrifice, as well. It can't be one-sided.

Did any of you read the latest Sports Illustrated (soccer player on the front) with the Derek Fisher article? It's a pretty good read. For some reason, I am under the impression that Fisher is very fair in his representation of the bargaining, and uses a lot more logic and reason than a lot of the players on the outside are representing.

A lot of us charger fans were upset with how the Chargers did LT. We're upset at much the charger's front office does.

You guys need to leave envy out of these discussions as well. Yes, pro athletes make more than you, that still doesn't mean their market value is less than you would like. Underpaid athletes(relative to their market value), need some way to address that, alongside owners being able to can under-performers.
