My brother in law is a Wizards fan and is really high on Nick Young. I used to watch a lot of Wizards games because they were on TV (good old Laetner, Strickland, Juwan, Richmond and Jahidi days). Then I got better internet and started using streams.

Most of the guys that showed up regularly are LA guys right? These are the same bunch of guys that used to play at UCLA gyms over the summer. B Diddy and Pierce are absent though.

The Drew League's not wheelchair accessible.

According to NY, he's playing.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Nick Young has too good of moves not to be any more productive and consistent on an NBA floor. I read about his confident issues when his shot wasn't falling a while ago, I wonder if he still hasn't gotten over those mental set backs. At the very least, he should be a 17-21 PPG player should there be a season next year.

He averaged 17.4 ppg last season. He didn't have any confidence issues last year from what I saw. That used to be an issue for him though. He might have been the Wizards most consistent player last season.

And for the people saying he's a ballhog, y'all clearly didn't watch him play last season. He's not the same dumbass chucker he used to be. Fip Saunders remodeled his game a bit and was mainly a Rip Hamilton-scorer last year who mainly scored off of spot-ups and coming off screens. And when he didn't have an open shot, he passed it back out. I hear a lot of people calling Young a black, but that's definitely not the case. My definition of a black hole is a a person who when he usually gets the ball, it usually doesn't come back out, which definitely isn't the case for Young. He assists numbers are alarmingly low because he's not a good passer, not because he's selfish. And the role he plays for the team doesn't really require him to be a playmaker.

He's never going to be a true #1 option on a team though because of his BBIQ. He has no power in his game, and too many times does he settle for a jumpshot or a soft floater instead of driving all the way to the rim and seeking contact. The slightest contact can knock him off balance.

But he's one of the purest shooters in the NBA and can score in bunches. He's a poor-man's Kobe.

Not sure how I forgot that. Damn. I mean, I knew he picked up his scoring this past season but for some reason I still went and said he needs to pick up his scoring. Shame. Eh, its past noon I'll just pin it on crashing.

I get all the games since I live in DC but I didn't get to watch a whole lot of Wizards game last season. When I did, Crawford was filling in. And there goes another guard with some serious skills. The couple of times I saw Young match up against the Lakers, I was very impressed with his post game. But besides that, I didn't really see a whole lot of him last season.

Anyway, you mentioned some outside fans labeling Young as a chucker/black hole etc. I read it, too. Well, I guarantee you that is from a lack of watching him. Washington has their share of low young terribly low BBIQ guys who accounted for a lot last years struggles so don't be surprised if people just lump all their young guys (outside of Wall) the same. JR Smith, now there's your chucker.

One thing I know, Young's turn around jumper is pretty Kobe-esque. Its refreshing to see a younger player utilizing it.

guilty for saying Young is a ballhog :P .

he actually reminds me of Larry Hughes when I first saw him. he just has that smooth J but everything else was much like that of Hughes': settling for J's and not utilizing his slashing abilities. didn't Young make that sick baseline drive? 360 reverse lay-up?
