We will be fine without Adelman. Sure Mn's economy isn't in the tank like ours, and they don't have the crappy air we have the pleasure of breathing, but we have Jack Nicholson. Enjoy the cold Adelman while we enjoy being warm with our many illegal immigrants, and the everlasting chance we may someday fall in the drink. I would rather have what we have then have to buy a jacket and grow some balls.

P.S I also love the fact that 1 out of every 3 of our women has atleast herpes, sometimes even more, beat that Mn.

Speak for yourself. I was very happy about the Mike Brown hire. I have a long memory. I remember all those Christmas games when the Cavs coached by Mike Brown outclassed the Lakers coached by Phil Jackson. Anyone watching those games knew painfully obvious that Mike Brown's Cavs were better coached.

We didn't need him as coach, we needed a defensive minded coach who can teach defensive principles. I've said it before and I'll say it again.......offense wasn't our problem, we were in the top 10 in the league.

Adelman has a great regular season rep, but has failed in the post season more. Glad we have Brown and others here just have to realize he was the man for the job and not loser Adelman.

+1000000000000000000000. we all complained about our defense, yet when the team goes out and get's a defensive minded coach we still complain. also like someone else said the fact that the best job adelman could get is minny is telling.

Exactly. What is wrong with these people? People hated that Phil Jackson doesn't practice defense or have an advanced defensive scheme. Now we hire Mike Brown who have always had a great defensive team and people are still complaining? Also for those who complain that Brown can't coach offense, check the Cavs' offensive ratings in those years. Mike Brown took what he had which was Lebron James and some role players to the best record in the NBA. Brown overachieved with the Cavs for sure.

Well I guess I'm the only one who will stand behind my desire for Adelman, and my absolute distaste for Brown. anyone who thinks Brown was more, or as successful, kinda makes me lol. adelmans kings were probably the best team to not win a title this decade. He's a MUCH better offensive coach than Brown, and I don't get this myth that his teams werent good defensively.

2000 -- 10th in Drtg -- 7th in SRS

2001 -- 7th in Drtg -- 2nd in SRS

2002 -- 6th in Drtg -- 1st in SRS

2003 -- 2nd in Drtg -- 2nd in SRS

Now of course the Cavs were a great team as well, so whats the difference? Well the west was much stronger than the east the past few years, and adelman actually has a track record of having great teams with different players. Brown had the luxury of prime lebron, a guy who was playing at a GOATish level. Not saying he can't succeed without him, but that team was running on something special.

Also not sure why people think defense was the problem this year, we were actually pretty good defensively, our final demise was due to having no shooters, and in the end, no semblance of an offense.

So even if you want to consider Brown a better defensive coach, fine, but Adelman's teams were no slouches. Factor in that Adelman is more proven, and has run much more cohesive offenses, and it's a no brainer. Adelman was the better choice and the lakers failed in not going after him. Period. And I really do think it's as simple as that.
