i'd love to get AK47 on this team after letting luke go. he can play sf and pf which allows the lakers to play artest less and allows them to play pau at pf less.

Not enough minutes to play Gasol and Bynum at the Center though.

I still don't see how the league can make a player sign for a team he doesn't want to. Matt Barnes gave up money from Toronto to sign here for a lesser salary.

Although I agree about how can they force a guy to sign somewhere I'm pretty sure Barnes thought he was getting 10M from Toronto and when that fell through he came out to us.

interesting that sources from the Blazers are saying that Roy is as good as gone. and Roy indicated that he is interested in playing only in the West. could be a long shot for LA though and the primary concern is a legit PG, not a combo guard who thinks he should be "the man" of the team he's playing for. and LA also needs a back up C.

which brings me to Kurt Thomas. LA isn't one of his ideal destinations but playing for a contender could be enough reason to play for the Lakers. decent defender and has lethal mid range game when left open.

AK would be nice but we have MWP, Barnes, Ebanks, and probably Kobe at times at the 3 spot.

Whats up guys. Been a while. Living in ny now and steven a smith show i get here and he said he hs sources that say howard has choosen lakers. He was right about lebron to miami and lockout ending when he went on record. I think with paul to knicks and howard to la the league will be better then jordans days with knicks lakers finals. I have a daughter now. Shes 1 month old but prematture by 3 months so shes still on hospital but shes a strong kid.
