For those asking about Terrence Williams, he's currently working out in Los Angeles and weighing his options.

Doesn't mean a thing as far as joining the Lakers, but I thought it might be interesting.

I doubt Sessions leaves after this season. If he was on Cleveland then he would leave as he would be a backup on a rebuiliding team. But it's highly unlikely he opts out as for the first time in his career he is a starter on a playoff contender. The only reason he would decline his player option after the season would be to sign a longer deal with us.

I would love to get Williams as he still has good potential and would be be fun to watch play next to a PG like Sessions who likes to run and get up and down the floor. Williams reminds me of a player like Andre Iguodala.

There's also the part where he would be doing himself a disservice financially. He knows this seasons isn't the best example of a contract year. His first half in CLE was terrible being behind Kyrie. His second half with us is with a completely new offense, starting from the bench, in a lockout season w/o much practice time to learn the playbook in a structured environment.

He will make a better case for himself
A) Getting a full season as a starter w/ starter's minutes
B) Having a training camp
C) Not getting DWill consolation $

And I think that excitement re: being a laker after miserable seasons on losing teams will take more than half a year to wear off. And if it ends in a deep playoff run/ship, there will be some euphoria to boot.
