Wow, Hill has not been waived yet. Thought Lakers would want to save his money also.

Yes.
Mitch said he'd be watching waivers to see if there was someone who could fill a need.

That Terrence WIlliams rumor would make sense. The Lakers have 3 PGs, 1 SG, a combo, four SFs, three PFs, and two Cs.

A big shooting guard that can play excellent defense is invaluable, especially if you are facing a Wade, Harden, or Rose.

Hill will be on the end of the bench. It is like having 2 roster spots open. If there was something special out there. Then Hill would be waived and they could add something usefull.

why the hate for Hill though? Yes he has no J but he can be effective ala Turiaf with the PnR with Sessions,so as McRoberts.

I'm not high on Arenas anymore,he'll likely sign with Memphis. That team needs another PG. TWill should be signed. Imagine a 2nd unit consisting of

Sessions
Williams
Barnes
McBob
Hill

very active and not bad defensively.

Put the ball in Sessions hand's so he can get it to Kobe for open shots after driving into the pain to free up the big men. Having Kobe play one-on-one ball with the big men in the paint is asinine, absolutely stupid. Having Kobe play 1-2 P and R is also non-sense. It's very simple and it was done in 99 by the Spurs in this very system.

Ramon has the ball as Avery Johnson did with Gasol (Duncan) in the high pick and pop.
Kobe is on the wing
MWP on the other wing
Bynum in the low

That should be the formula every damn time. If Kobe gets an outlet pass from a driving Sessions he will have an off-balance defender and a defense not set to stop him in the mid-range.

I want to see the team close games out with

Sessions
Kobe
Barnes
Gasol
Bynum

Its gives this unit a chance to get out and run while having the interior presence of two 7 footers. I have a feeling we might just see this unit close games out in the future. They are the Lakers best players 1 - 5.
