Yes. If another team offers more money does he stay with us?

Just in case you couldn't tell from the sarcasm, I think he stays regardless because he wants to be in LA.

I'm not sure if he'll opt out but we do have his bird rights so hopefully we resign him if things work out.

No I got it. I just think he will go for the money.

They should hire Magic Johnson to coach this guy like what they did with Bynum and Kareem.

I'm not so sure that's a good idea given Magic's supposed falling out with the Buss family.

What's the word on the reason(s) for the fall out?

He definitely wants to get paid and likely sees this as his opprotunity ti really cash in ... that's cool, but for how much?

Mitch has a bad trackr record with overpaying guys only to unload them two or three years later with a draft pick.

It's really important that he sign this dude to a reasonable deal so the Lakers don't have to keep unloading first round draft picks to rectify past mistakes in signing guys for too much money and too many years.

It's one thing to say that the Lakers will not let him go; it's another thing to actually throw out a number.

How much is the kid worth assuming his numbers get slightly better and he has a couple of game-changing games in the playoffs (ala Ariza)?

Im sure both parties will meet in the middle as far as a deal goes, sessions seems hella hype to be here. and at the end of the day would you give up the starting pg spot on the lakers for alil more when you can just make it up being here.

he young and extactly what we need i dont see the fo letting him walk
