OT but, according to the Orlando board Orlando's going to ask Howard for commitment past 2013 and if he doesn't commit they'll trade him before the season starts. And apparently it's been leaked out that Orlando was ready to accept Bynum/filler for Howard before Howard waived his ETO. Something DEEP3CL said wasn't going to happen (sorry man, I had to).
That said, it looks like we may have to put up with the Howard rumors again fairly soon. But I don't think Howard would act out the way he is in Orlando here in LA. Much more of a stronger willed franchise, if you will. I guess it comes down to which bigger baby would you want on your team, Bynum or Howard. I'm somewhat willing to put up with Bynum (although my patience is wearing thin), but I'd take Howard.

I think Bynum expected/wanted to be co-captain... I think he's been pouting since they gave it to Pau.

JJ Barea remembers. The fact that the press notices his emotions is negative as well. Whenever you're doing something that the media perceives as disruptive it's not good.
the jj barea thing was at the end of the game so the damage was done. then you are talking about perceive damage. not actual damage to the team on the court.
an example would be the blow out that the magic suffered when howard was being indecisive. his team didn't know what was up so they stopped caring. that is damage on the court.

i think there is some truth to that, but he has proven the coach right on that choice.

Dwight Howard and it isn't even remotely close. Howard pisses me off. Good thing he and the Magic self-destructed against the Knicks.

In the March 20th game against the Rockets, Bynum was ejected from the ball game with his second technical foul in the 3rd quarter. At the time the Lakers were up 77-71. Lakers went on to lose the ball game 107-104.
Tonight, April 6th, against the Rockets again, Bynum was ejected from the ball game with his second technical foul in the fourth quarter. At the time the lakers were down 84-83. The Lakers went on to lose the ball game 112-107.
