Not the dunk. It's another play.

See, Cousins? They don't baby Griffin. They just call his flagrants a little later, without the punishment of 2 FTs to the opposing team.

I can't believe they didn't call the forearm dunk a flagrant.

It wasn't a flagrant. It was an offensive foul and then a taunting T. Neither were called. Great majority of the time, BOTH would be. That assault over Pau's back in the first minute was also an offensive foul. They call over-the-backs on 1/10th that much force applied to the guy boxing out. That may sound like sour grapes, but not to anyone who was a fan of the league only about a dozen years ago.

Griffen gets away w/ shh. Cousins is an idiot, but he's not wrong on this account. Hopefully, the league won't have to correct the refs' oversights after the fact too many more times. This should serve as a subtle hint that they don't need to grease the #1 pick that damn hard. He's already sufficiently unlikeable from his own personality, they shouldn't add to it.

NBA must be really happy that yet another #1 pick they hoped desperately to pimp turned out to be a scumbag to most of the league's fans. He's the rare type of cretin in pro sports who would have me AVOID buying the products he represents on principle alone.

Look at the 2nd part of clip again. The forearm was just an incidental contact. There was no flagrant involved. The NBA reviewed it, and agreed with the refs.

Lol. With statements like that, you'd definitely be biggest flopper in the league if you played in the NBA.

I don't know about flopping but there would definitely be some retaliation on the court if someone did that to me, like maybe a low bridge?

Are you serious? The idiot threw his arm out at Pau, he definitely fouled him, take your homer glasses off.

You must not know what incidental and what intended contact means. It was intended contact. Blake always does it with his arms in case someone tries to block him so he can swap them out of blocking motion and dunk more easily over them. It is dirty and he does it most of the time.

You can say that by now it is more of an instinct for him, and maybe its true, but its still an offensive foul, you like it or not.

And nba will always say it was good play. He is their posterboy, for god's sake.

But when it was shown to Barkley, O'neal and the co they all said it was a foul other than Kenny who is a Griffin homer.

That's cool. I was saying if you believe a typical offensive foul is a FLAGRANT, then you're encouraging the pussification of this league.

Well all I know is if Bynum or Kobe did that they'd get a flagrant and possibly kicked out of the game....
