This game was a textbook example why some of us get down on Drew so hard for his inconsistency on defense. While you can't expect somebody to block 10 shots or grab 30 rebounds all the time, you can see what he's capable of when he's locked in and playing hard. Well done, sir. More, please.

You guys looked great defensively today and Bynum had a sexy triple double. Also, I'm happy Jordan Hill played well with a double- double.

The Lakers really need to run Horns a lot more. They get great looks every single time, yet they rarely do it.

With that said, I'm really proud of our guys, they came out with a lot of energy defensively. Bynum was an absolute force on that end, and according to Darius over at FB&G, the Nuggets shot 38% in the restricted area, scoring only 44 total points in the paint.

Great team effort all around. If Bynum commits to playing defense every night and our role players keep hitting open shots, I believe we can beat anyone in a series.

I think what need to be said is that we haven't played playoff basketball this good since Game 7 4th quarter of the NBA finals against Boston 2 years ago. Last year , there wasn't a single playoff game we had that made me think we could be champs, during that hornets series we just scraped by. This win makes me feel like if Lakers play this way, not a team in the league that can stop us.
