Well Kobe had his nose broken, bloodied, along with the concussion and dizziness, hit his free throws and played all the way through the All-Star Game (although Wade was intentionally or unintentionally successful in stopping Kobe from getting MVP)...

Ron Artest actually tweeted about this, calling himself and Kobe old school 80s players that "have to practice" flopping.

That being said, nobody's in a position to compare pain tolerance. I think Harden would have played the 2nd half of that game but it looked like OKC officials pulled the plug on his comeback. I know they stated Harden didn't pass a second round of tests, but the video looked like they already had team officials stopping Harden from playing. Didn't want to risk it, and I don't blame them.

Harden is a competitor, and just because he isn't as physical as Artest or Kobe doesn't make him less of a man.

Great basketball player, love his game, would love to see this Los Angeles native in Purple and Gold to replace Kobe in 4 or 5 years.

It makes me sick to my stomach that Wade broke Kobe's face, making him wear a mask, in an all star game, wade didn't miss a second, but metta does this to Harden in a regular game and misses 7 games. While Metta deserved a suspension for his ill intentions, the fact that Harden is healthier than Kobe after their injuries and the gap between the suspensions goes from none to 7 games is really messed up.

I'm curious what people think a player with a history should be suspended for if they try to punch someone in the face but miss. Do they deserve 7 games too?
