They won practically every stat except the one that mattered most, the final score.

We really shouldn't be too happy with this game, you could see Bynums post game interview(FSW) that he wasn't content with the results at all. We let Denver play their game, and only won due to the heroics of our 2 stars in Kobe and Bynum.

If we play like that in Denver we're likely coming back home with the series tied. We need to do a much better job controlling the tempo, and we need to hit more of our open 3s to get a win there.

Blake sucks

Sessions taking more shots than Gasol? :-?

Goudelock sitting there doing nothing when he could play instead of shi**y Blake.

Blake plays D though. Goudelock would either get beaten off the dribble by Lawson, or eaten alive in the post by Miller or Afflalo. I love the kid but his D and ball handling aren't good enough for him to play over Blake.

Lawson put up big number tonight... sooooo.........

Blake only played 26 minutes last night, it's ridiculous to blame him for Lawson going off when Lawson played a majority of his minutes against Sessions who is considered a below average defender. And I never said he's the DPOY, simply a hell of a lot better than Goudelock. Believe me, if Glock could stay in front of the PGs in this league I would be all for him getting Blake's minutes. But under Mike Brown, a guy who plays no D is not gonna get any run.

When Blake got put into the end of the game alone he got destroyed by Lawson. Steve Blake may be a slightly better on ball defender, but his slightly better defense did not overcome the black hole game last night on offense.

Also the difference between Game 2 and Game 1 is the fact that when Lawson got into the paint, no one stopped him. He had 4 blocked attempts game 1 and only 1 in game 2. I could almost guarantee the numbers for affected shots are drastically different as well. The mental aspect alone is enough to explain the performance differences (as well as a better game plan by Karl).

Yeah he has a decent around the basket game.

How is Pau doing? I havent been able to see the games.I mean comparing to last year playoffs or this regular season...Cause Faried,Mcgee,Koufos, Mozgoc should be "easy" to dominate.I know Pau and domination doesnt match at all unless he play with our national side....

Farmar has really stepped up his game after playing overseas, and getting a big role with the Nets. He's had a career year. If he played like that while on the Lakers, he'd still be in P and G.

Re: Hornets last year
During that series, even though we won, I was pretty sure we weren't getting out of the West. If we can't stop one quick PG and a handful of role players, we would be toast. Sure enough, JJ and Terry destroy us.

To me Pau is doing what is asked of him. He's hitting his 15 footer with consistency he's being a big body on the defensive end & passing very well. Have no problem with Pau right now.
