Kobe Bryant Academy, anyone interested?

Post#1 » by Imadogg » Thu May 3, 2012 7:22 am

As you guys all know - unless you don't follow my life (I feel bad for you) - I interned at Kobe Bryant Academy last year

It's gonna be in Santa Barbara, Ca again. It's a week long and you need somewhere to stay. Long days, you work with lots of kids and stuff and the perks include meeting kobe, telling everyone you met kobe, and getting something signed.

If you're interested, they need more interns this year

How do you sign up? I'm seriously interested. My uncle has a home in SB close to the college. I would take a week off of work to help and do whatever was asked of me. I like giving back. It would be fun to see how Kobe's basketball camp works.

When I was a kid we couldn't afford to attend those camps. And after you start making money, you can't go for fun because its for the rich kids. Seriously I would spend as much as bowow lost to play Kobe 1 on 1. Just for the experience and fun. I would want it videoed and photo'ed to death. But we need an adult basketball camp. Open bar and shooting hoops w/ NBA players. That would be a blast.

OT: My best friend went to a Bill Walton camp (99 maybe) and Bill Walton told my friend he should quit basketball!!!! My friend did get cut from the JV team in highschool but he wasn't bad. It's tough when your school has 3,000 - 4,000 kids and there are only 12 spots. They put him on fresh/soph.

Everytime Bill would call a game he HAD to talk about what a jerk (he used other words) he was. How Bill is a phony. We have a theory that it is because flew out there IN A LAKERS CHAMPIONSHIP SHIRT FROM THE 80's!!!!!!! Bill is the ultimate hater. Putting down kids.
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

Yea most of them were besides me (graduated UCSB) and like 3-4 others.

Email info@ kobeacademy.com and ask about interning at the camp, I think interviews are at UCSB in a week.
